Disgrace. I gave the kid 3 rounds. The guy couldn't jab. Slapped non-stop with his back hand. It was obvious the fix was in early doors.
It is if you like watching a plodder against a flatfooted light hitting switch hitter.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 18:39 Missed the fight.
I have read it’s not worth watching though.
I watched the first 6 rounds then stuck the PlayStation on. Was crap.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 18:39 Missed the fight.

I remember, when Covid lockdowns first started, he was having a right old moan on Twitter because he wasn't getting rent from his tenants or something. So I assume that even then he'd invested his money.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 17:26 How much money do you think Davies made? Must be a couple of mill no? Hopefully he’s paid for a house
The best we could come up with was a draw, and that was being very generous to him indeed.Ricky wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 18:27 There's no way you can find 7+ rounds for Edmonson in that fight, he barely landed a.meaningful punch the entire fight. He had a good bodyshot in r10, everything else was such poor form,. mainly because he was concentrating on holding instead of following anything up. It was an awful performance, and it was Edmonton that made it a crap fight.
Overly harsh IMO. He made the most of his abilities and was a solid British/euro level fighter who is heavy handed. Sure his technique left something to be desired but he made the most of his ungangly style. Wish him well in retirement and his next steps.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 17:15Truly terrible. How he had a career in boxing is astonishing. Extremely poor in many areas. Making mistakes all over the place. Can't even throw punches properly. He's just not athletic at all and you saw a huge athleticism gap there but credit to him for hunkering down and having a career in the first place. It's the right time to get out though because he will only take more beatings.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 17:08But Davies was awful.handsofstone wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 17:04 Really good from Azim, Davies done well in a couple of the early round, was landing his long jab and timing Azim with the right but Azim slowly got to work, his speed is phenomenal, hand and foot, lightening quick jab, was winning the hook exchanges, put Davies down in the 5th with a lovely uppercut to the body, full credit to Ohara though, took his lumps and was winging in shots still trying land a haymaker, Azim systematically broke him down, got the KO in the 8th ,got home first first with the hook, cracked Davies good
sums up my views entirely. Good luck to him. His YT channel used to be good, he doesn't post now, was insightful though. Turned his life around via boxing, was on an attempted murder charge prior to boxing, massively achieved in those circumstances, won some belts including the English title and has made enough money to have some properties.black panther wrote: ↑20 Oct 2024, 07:21Overly harsh IMO. Maybe. I don’t know. I mean it’s tough when you finish your boxing career whilst still so young. Like all sportspeople. It must be hard to change to a new line of work. Still I hope he has used his money well, seems like he hasforcefraser wrote: ↑20 Oct 2024, 12:24Seems to be a bit of a loose cannon. Ohara owns a few properties, whereas Small got convicted for illegally sub-letting his council flat which says you all need to know about his morals regardless of his ISIS-love. I think Ohara will be ok, he's not arrogant and seemed happy he was retiring. I can't imagine him trying to radicalise bemused members of the public any time soon unlike Anthony.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑20 Oct 2024, 15:14Maybe. I don’t know.
