If WIlder KO's Fury in the first round, what will Wilder's rating score be afterwards?

if that is true, it is especially out of place in a historically shallow division like cruiser, where a few high level wins really goes a long way for a fighters standing
Boxers were much more busy in former times - so they would be strongly preferred.

thats a good point, although for cruiserweight specifically i think its not so relevant. usyk having beat another pair of 3s in the same year as beating the 2 is a huge deal imo for his atg standing at cruiser, where the division doesnt stretch back so much to days of huge activity and where many fighters dont really have loads of standout wins.

Ratings r_old are the current ones.

We would get r_new, if we would award multiple wins per year.

Why does not this match have three stars like before? Dillian had 46 points (despite coming from two years off due to a ban and being unproven).

Diliian is noted with 45.69 points before this bout. This is below the 3-star bout limit of 46 points. As a lot of past result are added and some corrected every day, it might have happened that his pre-bout has dropped some fraction of points.

The boxer ratings and all pre-bout and after bout ratings are re-calculated from scratch every day, based on the latest records.

Why after Wilder vs Fury finish in a DRAW the rating of Wilder was significantly reduced and Fury's rating was significantly increased? This kind of rating would have been valid if Fury would win the fight and wilder lose but the fight was a DRAW. Does not seem right at all after a draw result one fighter to lose rating points big time & another to earn huge. Fair will be both to win a certain number of points , and both have their ratings increased because it's a draw with 2 winners, not a winner & a loser how ratings look now. This is a major flow!!! :shame:

Because... a draw brings the two fighters closer together? Not sure why that is such a heinous result?

Yes! But still is a major flow how this draw is scored. If Fury would win and Wilder lose the rating would be the same like now . WHERE is the difference in fury win vs draw because i don't see it. This kind of scoring a draw are really stupid because is similar with a win for Fury and this is nor right at all. Correct would be both to earn some equal points because this is a DRAW , a fight with 2 winners.

Umm.. if Fury won, he'd be ranked ahead of Wilder.
