I felt it was a pretty clear win for Romero. He deserved the W even though he has missed weight twice against Whittaker now. I can see the 3rd and 5th being 10-8 rounds for Romero. He definitely caused more damage. But Whitaker is a tough SOB. I really like both of these guys. I can't help but think the weight issue swayed the scorecards.

I thought Robbie won it fairly handily, though it was very close.

I did get the distinct feeling the company wanted Romero to win, not dissimilar to Miocic's recent fight. I mean how many top ranked fighters are asked if a rubber match is in order after winning 2 of 2 fights for the title?..... i like Rogan, but eff Rogan lol....
The UFC definitely did not want Miocic to beat Francis, that was purely Joe Rogan never wanting to be wrong. He did the same thing last night when he went from hyping Megan as the unbeatable Invicta giantess champion to being a young beginner who needs more time to develop.

I agree with you on Bobby Knuckles, I thought we won a close but clear fight.

Most likely a very boring and hugely uneventful win for Woodley. Hope I'm wrong.

Could go that way mate

Although with till getting stick for missing weight and the fight in general getting stick because people feel Covington was wrongly stripped then they've got to go out and have a go haven't they , I know it doesn't work like that but you'd think they'd want to go out now and have a proper fight to stop al the talk

I'd really hope so. I like Till, not my favorite but I like him. Woodley and Usman are two of my least favorite fighters ever. Mega talented and heavy handed but they put on the most boring fights I've ever seen. If they weren't so talented, I wouldn't care how crap they're performances are. I hope Till knocks him cold, but sadly I see see a snoozefest.

Usman has never struck me as a slacker. He just doesn't have the skill set that lends itself to finishing.

Usman/Thompson should probably happen soon.

That body shot made me pee a little just watching it. I'm surprised Stephen's was able to stand after the fight was stopped. One of the more vicious body shots I've seen in my day.

He's a grappler with heavy hands. He doesn't try for the finish standing or on the ground. He's so frustrating to watch. They gave him a pure striker in Meek and he dry humped him. They gave him a pure grappler in Maia and he was content to *almost* engage on the feet. In both fights he was hesitant to take risks while in his opponents weakest area.

Yeah the first fight was pretty nuts. The animosity is pretty palpable between the two. Dillashaw not holding back his right to brag... Garbrandt smartly a bit more reserved but holding his ground....

TJ won the battle last time round, but its yet to be seen if he has won the war.... Id wouldnt mind seeing Garbrandt getting up this time to set up the trilogy....

Garbrandt was looking great until he got caught. If that first round was 10 seconds longer he probably finishes the fight after dropping TJ. Looking forward to the rematch though and will be cheering on Cody because TJ is so fornicating unlikeable.

Khabib vs Conor is official. Khabib opening up a 2-1 favourite. I expect Conor to be favourite by the time the fight happens though.

I don't get all the hate for TJ. I thought Garbrandt come across as an absolute p***k in the build up to the first fight. I was delighted when he got smashed.
