I would like to make two reccomendations:

First:
The Hall Of Fame should be expanded... I believe that there should be more in-depth analysis of the Elected Legends...
Maybe there full boxing record could be put into a new thread called: HOF Fighters Records.

Then future Managers could look back at the great expolits of the Golden Oldies. :TU:

Second:
I would like to nominate Mr. JBacca for a place in the Hall Of Fame.

He has consistently been a succesful manager and his stable is revered around these parts.

(Though Don Krease frowns upon the SSM cronyism)

JBacca's credentials are thus: (an abridged version here)
He managed:
Philadelphia Jack O'Brien, a 2-time WBU Champion.
Mickey Walker, Kid Gavilan Tournament Champion & 1-time Undisputed Champ.
Paul Williams, 1-time Undisputed Champ.

And his crowning glory;
HOFer Jose Napoles.

I do think JBacca deserves entry in to the fabled Hall. :TU:

I was about to layeth down the abuseth until I saw the second part of your post.

My last season was shite though and ruined my record of always having a champ. Toney is an absolute wanksplooge.

What about the Featherweight season? Did you have a World Champion in that season too?

I remember the top 6 fighters of that season were: Arguello, Nelson, Marquez, Sanchez, Pep and Chocolate and you didn't manage any of them.

Either way, you are entitled to at least 1 bad season... Over the course of the documentated modern era, you have been among the most successful of managers.

EDIT: I've just noticed that Griffo was a WBU Champ (won it in Week 16, he beat Chacon).

Whenever Neri sees this, hope he puts up an official HOF vote. :TU:

I think more people need to voice an opinion on this post deletion debate. After all, I just try and keep this thing orderly and the final say is always had by the majority. I'm in favour of the records of HOF fighters being documented but I'd rather it was just posted in this thread as a normal post rather then create a seperate thread. Just in the interests of keeping the HOF all in here.

I think JBacca was suggested as a HOF manager at the end of the last season and the vote was ready to go out until he asked for it to be delayed. What should be the next move on this?

Agreed. And you do a good job of it I might add.

The only reason I suggested to put it in another thread is because if we were to put down the full records of Fox, Spinks, Robinson and Napoles, the Hall would get rather lengthy.
And the early era fighters do not get an equally in-depth mention... Whereas on the other thread it could be entitled MODERN ERA HOF BOXING RECORDS,to avoid any confusion. :TU:

I would volunteer my services to record the HOFers records,I think I have Fox's somehwere on my Computer. :TU:

Didn't Mr. JBacca nominate himself? Then later he withdrew as he realised that had he been elected, it would have seemed a tad underhand.

The next move is yours, Mr. Neri... This time around everything has been done through the proper channels... I have nominated Jbacca because I honestly do believe that he deserves for a place in the Hall.

Maybe an offical HOF vote to let the mjaority decide. :TU:

Another further recommendation:

Should the HOF recognise ground-breaking firsts? Like Virgil Hill is in the Hall because he on the WBU Title in Week 6 of the LHW season. :TU:

In the FW season I had Griffo and Ted Kid Lewis in the top 10 right until the last week it lasted for. A considerable achievement considering their ability in comparison with some of the greats they were up against.

I'd rather get nominated after a good achievement, makes it feel more worthwhile.

I nominate "The Rock" for the current HW season...for both style and substance. He has earned it.

Achievements that no other manager has fulfilled or just pure dominance in a season will get you a spot in here, My name will be here one day, being the youngest manager in SIM history allows me to take in as much experience off these more experienced managers season after season.

This question will be asked by every new Manager arriving in the Sim...
I still think we hsould have a HOF Fighters Records thread...

I would be more than happy to provide the full records of the fighters post deletion.

Barn Owls have an average lifespan of between 3 to 9 years. (If Google is to be believed).

Maybe after he mans up and faces Muhammad Ali and Joe Louis... (And IF he beats them).
And there's a host of other fighters The Rock would have to face to even be considered in the Hallowed Halls.

But the absence of Ali and Louis from his record is very telling...

Ali is willing, but presently engaged....that's a fact we will not deny.

Sadly the great Joe Louis is managed by an incompetent yellow bellied dancing cadaver, and thus ineligible for greatness for the duration of this season.
