Seriously though, amateur boxing is too far removed from the pro game. Compact counter punching seems to be the order of the day. Body shots mean nothing

O'Kane boxed well, used experience and strength to win the day but let's be honest, who goes further as a pro out of them two?

Pleased for O'Kane. Seems a top lad!

tbh on that showing I think without the headguard and smaller gloves o'kane would destroy ogogo in the pros

I cant stand Ogogo, genuinely taken a dislike to him.

O'Kane would splatter him all over the canvas if he was in the pros - he's a showpony.

Paddy seems certain to turn pro.

Eamonn O'Kane is about 3rd best in this weight in Ireland and has always struggled at our national championships to dont think he'll make the Olympic team, Barry should sign him up. I'm sure he'll be a decent ticket seller along with Frampton on his Kings halls shows.
