Is Monzon rocking a man-bag there? Man of the future, if so.

How come Monzon fought two fights with Valdes in 13 months? Why Monzon didn't defend his middleweight title between the two Valdes fight?

Ha ha BoxBuzz you and your gay jokes. I was asking Il Duce how good any of the fighters from the past were with their strength and weakness. He has good information on the size of every fighters. If you have a favorite fighter from the past, would you want to know how good he was?

I apologize if sharing bath towels was taken as a derogatory.....I believe it can simply be a cost saving step, and simply pragmatic in these financially stressed times. However....I must admit, I'm a fan of the ol "Il Duce Goodness Assessment" Because it is an opinion....and I feel he needs to express more opinions...as he spends far too much time channeling alternate dimensional factual boxing timelines. And it takes a lot out of him.....Opining tends to ground him and allow him to rest from the stress that remaining in a trance for extended periods of time can create.

So don't let my eco-humor dissuade you from asking.

It should read...Monzon the Maniacal.

He was a cousin to Beelzebub....but lordy could he fight.

Interesting how you write about Ali in a disdainful manner, a man who surely demonstrated he had his dark side, but also can be looked at as someone with a fair share of redeeming qualities. But you write almost romantically (or at least with no negative edge) about Monzon....a chronic woman beater, and a murderer.

I happen to think both were the best from their respective weight class' as fighters. We apparently agree on Monzon's fighting ability. Or do we?

Any thoughts on what would have happened (provided he could have stayed in top shape) in a Monzon vs Hugo Corro matchup in 78?

Il Duce, I would please like to know how good was Monzon's fellow countryman Hugo Corro? List of his strengths and weaknesses.

According from the cyberboxingzone.com, "Corro was a talented fighter whose fights were sometimes called boring; He was not overly exciting to watch but, nevertheless, possessed fine skills and was effective in his style."

What happened with Monzon's two fights with Valdes? I watched both fights on youtube. In the first fight, Monzon knocked Valdes down in the fourteenth round on his way to unified the world middleweight title and Monzon's second and final fight with Valdes, Monzon himself was knocked down in the second round after taking a big right hand from Valdes. However, Monzon retain his title for the final after 15 rounds of fighting.
