I was banned from 23rd to 30th so this statement is somewhat flawed.Horse wrote:If only there was a mod with the guts to stand up to him.
Now that is simply superbTuan_Jim wrote:Why must this strange man Horse's self-education be made a public affair? Just watch the fights in your own time.
A mod should really move this whole ugly jumble to the Boxing History forum.

Will you ever get bored of trolling?Offal wrote:Oh ... the irony
You haven't ..Horse wrote:Will you ever get bored of trolling?
I can't believe that you've never seen fights like Eubank/Watson, Lewis/Bruno, Hamed/Johnson, Calzaghe/Reid, etc. . . . It's not like we're in the era of hunting down VHS tapes in the classifieds. YouTube has been around for a decade; and you've always seemed like a man with a lot of time on his hands.Horse wrote:Why must you be so rude?Tuan_Jim wrote:Why must this strange man Horse's self-education be made a public affair? This thread isn't meant for sad little braggarts who've seen a few classic fights more than others and want to undermine them because of it.Tuan_Jim wrote:I can't believe that you've never seen fights like Eubank/Watson, Lewis/Bruno, Hamed/Johnson, Calzaghe/Reid, etc. . . . Fine, that's great, well done but have it moved to Boxing History where it belongs. With this all the other related threads and your 'famous' P4P/Martin Murray business half the first page is dominated with HORSE.Horse wrote:I was trying to do something positive and encourage learning about British and Irish boxing history
I strongly suspect you won't respond to this Horse but how old are you?Horse wrote:I was trying to do something positive and encourage learning about British and Irish boxing history

I struggle to see the issue people have with a thread about British and Irish boxing, being in a British and Irish boxing forum, being commented on and contributed to by British and Irish boxing fans.Offal wrote:Fine, that's great, well done but have it moved to Boxing History where it belongs.
Not really, you just came back and trolled a bit more under the monikers of Father Huddlestone and Meringue Nest...and possibly others.Offal wrote:I was banned from 23rd to 30th so this statement is somewhat flawed.Horse wrote:If only there was a mod with the guts to stand up to him.
I know exactly what you're trying to do with this thread. It's the work of a man so self-absorbed you haven't been able to watch historic fights that are referenced on a daily basis on a forum of which you have been a member for eleven years.Horse wrote:This thread isn't meant for sad little braggarts who've seen a few classic fights more than others and want to undermine them because of it.Tuan_Jim wrote:I can't believe that you've never seen fights like Eubank/Watson, Lewis/Bruno, Hamed/Johnson, Calzaghe/Reid, etc. . . . I was trying to do something positive and encourage learning about British and Irish boxing history.
Fortunately until now we've not had to deal too much with your type, hopefully this is just a little blip.
Something that I openly admitted to the MODS when I was allowed back with this account, so no great scoop there Milly (you forgot to include 'Dear Hero Imprisoned' as well ... try keep up)milpool wrote:Not really, you just came back and trolled a bit more under the monikers of Father Huddlestone and Meringue Nest...and possibly others.

I'm quite enjoying it, others are participating & discussing. People are learning about fighters they might not otherwise have known about.
Yes I've seen Lewis vs Bruno and plenty of Joe Calzaghe. But I've learned a bit about Walter McGowan, Howard Winstone, John H Stracey, Alan Minter and the Finnegan brothers.
If you don't like the thread, don't click on it, don't read it, skip by it.
Go troll other threads that interest you more.
I'm undecided if you are:davie wrote:I struggle to see the issue people have with a thread about British and Irish boxing, being in a British and Irish boxing forum, being commented on and contributed to by British and Irish boxing fans.

The arrogance of that remark is staggering, just who does he think he is? He constantly tries to belittle people with comments like that, but when someone stand up to him they are denounced as 'troll' or he starts acting the victim:Horse wrote:You didn't defend your suggestion very well
Sick of his nonsense I myself started a Graham vs Johnson thread, it was very well received the Graham vs McCallum thread that HORSE posted was totally ignored until he started pleading for people to post in it.Horse wrote:You never really wanted the Johnson fight, you just wanted an argument.
I don't known why I bother.

PIGG can be amusing in short bursts, but the longer they stay the more obvious their unpleasant, bullying nature becomes.milpool wrote:Not really, you just came back and trolled a bit more under the monikers of Father Huddlestone and Meringue Nest...and possibly others.

The ferocity you exhibit in defending him and his ... 'work' really is quite alarming.
