Not a fan of Eubank Jr, probably down to the unjustified hype he's got off of so many. You got to give the boy his due though in the gym the day after the fight with all the aches and pains he would of had putting in a shift. He will be feeling 10x worse this morning though
I don't give him his due, really, it's idiocy to train the day after the fight. gave himself no chance to recover properly.
thats how 'Insta-desperate' he is, he'd rather make a huge point about how dedicated he is, than do the actual, mature, sensible
adult thing and recover properly after a fight.
I agree with you mate it would of definitely been the sensible thing to do but to even have the willpower to get up and go to the gym after taking a beating takes a lot of dedication. Even if you don't il give him his dues for that
i don't think thats dedication, desperate attention-seeking getting in the way of a professional athlete's routine and recovery isn't dedicated at all. he'd rather try and look good than do the right thing.

CP isn't giving dues out just like that. It's a stupid thing to do and exactly the sort of thing that's held him back.

For the same reason you put below. That he's so desperate to be 'insta-liked' and seen as the most dedicated athlete ever. It all means Jack schitt but he craves the likes

Yeah, I get you. Now you mention it there is more than a hint of pathos to the whole thing. Also the insistence on training when he should be recovering, it's almost like he's mentally ill, with the need to project this image of himself. Yeah, that is pretty sad.

It's fornicating idiotic. Only a moron would train after elite level competition in any athletically demanding sport.
You won't see roger federer out whacking balls around the day after a grand slam final.
It's all for show, Jr is a phony. He can fight, but he hasn't got the skills of an elite fighter, despite all the brash talk about what an absolute phenomenon he is. He's got great fitness, and has a very good chin, and excellent powers of recovery, as evidenced by the way he recovered from some of the bombs groves hit him with, but sadly, his skills are actually those of a club fighter. He makes up for them in many ways with his other attributes, but a world class fighter that doesn';t make.

Agreed. And let me guess, he's not working on jabing and moving is he?
More flashy combos?
