After Golovkin went the extortion rout last summer in demanding a ridiculously high percentage of the purse for the second fight, don't expect GBP to placate Golovkin's whims this time.

They haven't forgotten. So Gokovkin will certainly get no favors from those who now control the belts.
im not sure really, ggg alrady has a 100m deal and dazn isnt ppv, so what exactly would there be in terms of splits and what not for canelo to call. basically it comes down to whether canelo would actually decide to fight ggg again, and i imagine dazn also has some influence in that

the dazn set up isnt really the same as normal

and lol have you went already from vague rematch clause (because you personally are supposed to get private details right) to no rematch clause for ruiz, even when andy was saying he calls the shots he admitted to still needing to actually read the contract he signed

Canelo fought him in 2017.

Canelo fought him in 2018.

Laughable to think that Canelo and Oscar are shaking in their booties over the thought of taking on Golovkin in 2019.

But I do know how often fans fantasize that fighters spend their careers on the sidelines scratching their rears and waiting for opponents to grow older.

That's how they make money

That is exactly what happened before the first fight, which 3G was robbed in. Then Gingerhead got nailed for banned substances before the second fight.

Track record is pretty crystal clear.

I don't see any track record.

Canelo fought him twice in a year. Doesn't sound like he went into hiding at the thought of facing Golovkin.

He outboxed him. Then he outslugged him. Can't imagine another go-around with Golovkin would cause Canelo any sleepless nights.

He doesn't appear to be the kind of guy who ever gets rattled.

Live on in your Gingerhead dreamland, ignoring substance violations, entitled decisions and avoidance measures.

We know, we know; “if Gingerhead reaches the final bell, the other guy deservedly lost.”

Oscar delayed that first fight from taking place for quite awhile so it's not unfathomable he'd do it again..and by that tweet that's what it implies...
They should be fighting next..
No need for a build up..

And Canelo lost both those fights senor..outboxed and outslugged? No way in hell

The order is wrong. In the first fight, Golovkin outslugged Canelo. In the second, Golovkin outboxed him winning both fights.

Still living in the past?

I doubt few even recall that totally blown-out-of-proportion clenbuterol "scandal."

An infinitesimal amount of the drug in Canelo's system. A hair follicle test that came back negative. The NSAC calling it accidental. And a Mexican living in a country where clenbuterol contamination is epidemic.

Who cares?

Oh yeah I forgot. All the Golovkin Groupies who desperately cling to any worthless minutia that they vainly hope will discredit one of boxing's finest fighters.

After all this time I would think that you would realize that it ain't working.

I don't think I belong to Golovkin Groupies and yes, (nothing personal) but I, like many others, still remember Canelo's a doper ...

Canelo, with all the A side advantages still secured, will sign for the third fight despite his perennial fear of GGG. DAZN says so.

Without PED use he can hardly get down to 160 now and what with his drug addled knees about to give way anytime soon there's not too much advantage waiting for GGG to age further. Unless he wants to wait til 2022!

If they're going to do it, they got to do it now. Time's running out for both of them, and Cinco de Mayo and Independence Day only come round twice a year.

Canelo destroyed him in the rematch

GGG took a lot of punishment to the head and body

Thats the reason why he was resting for 9 months

Man, you are a salty loser.

Canelo was totally clean in the rematch and he was Stronger than the first Match and fought against GGG going forward, and GGG was back pedaling , but he received a lot of punishment

Canelo Álvarez won the rematch 115-113

The rematch was NOT the robbery the original was. Could have gone either way, but you, me, our wives, the landscapers, Putin, Team 3G, Fishnets, and all our pets knew that if it was close 3G had no shot at a decision going in. :OhYes:

The first fight was a draw and GGG did not do anything special to say he deserved clearly the win

Of fact, GGG missed 1000 punches in both fights.

Thats not. Normal... But you can't Say anything bad about a GGG performance

I hope we’ll get to see the final bout of the Canelo-GGG trilogy on the 14th September, but I have a funny feeling it’ll be pushed-back to the 2nd May, 2020.
