Impossible not to like him isn't it!?
Re: Round-by-Round: Dave Allen vs. Lucas Browne - 20 April 2019
Still dont think Allen is more than British level at best. He could well beat Price, I cant see Price stopping Allen if they fought. But it needs to be for a title, British perhaps.

He’ll face David Price next.
Lucas Browne had a two-fight deal with Matchroom and previously explained that Eddie Hearn had David Price lined-up to face the winner.

Realy entertaining and intriguing scrap cause of poor Pricey performance against that biting noname in his last fight. It's 50/50 fight - no sure that Price nowdays is much better than Browne. Wanna see it! (And don't want to see obvious mismatch Chisora vs Allen)

Think this is the one. Probably on the Whyte undercard (for the British title?).

Nah no way, watch it again and Browne is on his hands and knees bringing up blood into the canvas. I’m not saying that Allen is the next Ali, but he beat the man in front of him tonight with a peach of a body shot and that deserves to be respected.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑20 Apr 2019, 18:02 Browne looks fine now..
This was a set up!!
Allen will be a PPV star next. Always headlining now.

Re: Round-by-Round: Dave Allen vs. Lucas Browne - 20 April 2019
Fvcking superb I love that, sure the flaws Allen always had were clear to see in the first 2 rounds, Browne was giving him a beating, landing with nearly everything he threw, Allen's low head was an easy target for Browne's uppercuts, Allen has zero head movement or defence, looked like Browne was gonna old man him but seriously that bodyshot was as good a body shot ive seen a Heavyweight KO someone with, it was Allen' one moment of quality in the fight but it was enough and I'm chuffed for him , he's a proper dude
Allen's always been a good body puncher, I remember him creasing Nebo with shots downstairs, if he lands there clean he'll hurt guys, still he needs to learn to slip shots and parry though, Browne looked good in the first 2 but he wasn't putting everything on his shots at that point, maybe he shouldve

That awkward tension between Groves and Froch, though! Froch stood there twitching his arm like a saloon shooter getting ready.
Re: Round-by-Round: Dave Allen vs. Lucas Browne - 20 April 2019
Whilst standing next to Groves, Froch just said that "nobody expected Dave Allen to knockout George...um...Lucas Browne..."
Done deliberately? Still thinking of when he knocked out Groves in front of 80.000 fans? Thinking of Star Wars' George Lucas?

Allen-Browne was a short, but expectantly good brawl. Kinda saved the event after a pretty boring undercard. It seemed that Browne was good with his timing, but eventually it was Allen, who timed the conclusive shot.
Allen gotta fight Price. Or maybe Chisora.
Browne gotta retire.

GG "did I ever tell you how I retired Carl Froch at Wembley in front of 80,000..."
