He was 1lb heavier last weigh in. I think it's more the loma fans waiting to use weight as an excuse more than teo fans hoping it's deciding.

As a Lopez fan hes a fast twitch athlete with speed and power. That's why I'm picking him. The footwork of loma is a bigger problem then speed. That's closer than people think. He needs to be able to get off that hook, not the easiest punch to land on a southpaw, much less one of lomas ability.

You've just got to love this kid's attitude and confidence. There's a lot more to him than meets the eye.

I wish him well, but Loma looks as serious as we've ever seen him.

Gotta love that face off. Loma didn’t care then, he just went at it.

I've forgotten what it feels like to be amped for a fight and expect something special.

- Great fight I'm picking Loma with Teo a young gun slinger fully armed fo a shootout, however?

- Teo seems to have qualified for the 2016 Olympics, yet didn't participate?

Back story?

- Only 60 rds in the ring, a traditional prospect at best. Last 3 fights 12 rounders with the last for a world title in 15 fights.

- Loma 15 fights all 12 rds, 14 for a world title. Man vs Boy on paper.

- Teo sr seems to have taken the role of Danny Garcia sr in baiting opponents into storming into Danny's limited range.

As such factors are in play, I'm thinking sr to pull a Tito sr to stop the humiliation.

Just some cogitation before the 1st bell rings. Fight should be great as Teo won't go quietly, and maybe...?

This is only the 2nd time this year I've felt like that.

As I get older, more and more I see what you mean where the average every day Boxing cards just don't hold or capture your attention. The big fights like this do.

It's just life, I never thought a time would come I didn't watch college basketball spare some tournament games. It was never boxing, but I watched a game every day.

Kind of similar to when I couldn't fathom why my dad slept so little and now after 50 with arthritis and pissing I get it. Luckily I smoke weed.

They looked up for it at the weigh in didn't they, I wonder if it will kick off early in the fight.
Can't imagine too much weight will be put on overnight but you never know, both of them looked in good shape.

Watching lots of them again. Loma's hands are faster than I thought compared to Teo's and he does have excellent footwark, but one thing that stands out is that teo has really nice timing, combos, and sets his shots up well. It's framed as boxer vs puncher but Teo has serious boxing as well. He mixes up his shots really well too and will be the physically stronger man.

Still feel Teo does it, probably in good style

I'd say, it's more like a special boxer vs a puncher/solid boxer.

Will there be fight day weigh ins? be really interested on these twos fight night weight. More lomas weight, I think 130 is definitely his ideal weight, But could he still make 126 for a big fight? Could he possibly jump to 140 for the right fight such as manny pac..

He'd definitely do 140 to fight Pac. I don't recommend him staying there other than that.

Seriously this is a fight to get excited about with a decent amount of hype. Unfortunately I’m going to miss seeing it live - fk my life. I still believe Lomas skill can negate Lopez’s power but I’m not exactly expecting a Calzaghe lacy type performance from Loma. Here’s hoping for something competitive. Loma by decision.
