Talk of it being pushed to first quarter of next year now, this isn't happening without that Saudi money.
I would think this fight would be a big sell in the U.K. or America as well. I don't see why the Saudi's are needed for every big Heavyweight fight.
There's a saying..... if you don't know the answer to the question, the answer is almost certainly money.
A wiser man than me once said, the more people involved, the harder the fight is to make. You've got promoters, managers, advisors, layers, accountants, wives, trainers, friends, family and outside influences. All of those people will have an opinion on how much or what percentage their boxer should earn.
Then you've got two different TV/streaming outlets to argue about. Will the location be suitable for both guys, will it bring in enough money and is it available.
Personally, I think January would be a bad idea financially. A lot of people will be feeling the financial pinch after Christmas (Hanukkah for some

). No matter how mouth watering a fight it is, some people just d5on't have the money for PPVs and subscriptions.
Saudi money meant that all of those things weren't a problem, but now that's not there, it's a different story. This ain't an easy fight to make.

It has for over 7 years.
Hearn has mentioned Wembley for December. Does anyone believe him?
Is there any way you could give an unbiased opinion for like, ten minutes?

Despite claiming the fight was “Locked in” for December, Hearn and his tea boy have both done interviews today back-pedaling from this fight yet again.
We are now in the 8th year of this saga. Any of you guys starting to wise up a bit?

Joshua is no longer in the box seat to fight Hrgovic for what will likely be the vacated IBF title. The IBF have elevated Wallin to #2 in their just released rankings and it means if there is an immediate Fury-Usyk rematch, Wallin will likely fight Hrgovic for what would be the vacant title.
This means there is no good reason why Joshua shouldn't fight Wilder next. Though Hearn may be busy working on one right now.

So Usyk won't be fighting Fury for the undisputed?
Usyk has already been stripped?

I'd wager it's more AJ to and froing as to whether he wants any of Wilder.
Both have little to lose at this point, thanks to Fury and Usyk, but I can't see any result to this fight other than AJ flat on his back, eyes glazed. And AJ is probably thinking this too. He probably needs the money less than Wilder.

If you honestly think that AJ, a world class boxer, thinks that another guy in the top four is going to lay him out, you haven't spent time talking to world class boxers.

Joshua ultimately makes the decisions but not without a lot of input from Hearn and Hearn has never convinced me he genuinely believes Joshua can beat Wilder.
Is Hearn telling Joshua he doesn't think he can beat Wilder? Hell no, but he is recommending other paths. Such as the soon to be vacant IBF title but as we saw yesterday, Wallin has leapfrogged Joshua there.

I'd pick Joshua to beat Wallin, if he can knock him down a few times. would be an interesting fight. hopefully the fight isn't an air-flicking morris dance of jabs though

He's the oldest of the top four took back to back beatings off Fury. I think that will show in his punch resistance.

Nah he's been talking to AJ instead. Boom! Boom! Come off it, it's exactly what AJ thinks hence the constant ducking for years.

Doubt that Joshua would fight a guy with this much mileage on him. He has too much pride for that.

Possibly, possibly not. One things for certain, AJ ain't scared of Wilder and vice-versa.

If the fight doesn't happen, that doesn't mean one is scared of the other,
