I really don't think this fight is going to happen. I can see one of them Rico.

It's going to be a massive spectacle. I can't understand in the UK why anyone wouldn't want it starting at 9.30/10pm in a British stadium.
There was a Talk Sport clip in YouTube about this fight, the usual cheerleaders towing the line- epic, can't wait, all British classic etc etc..Controversial wrote: ↑07 Aug 2026, 07:52 I don't have much interest in the fight, they both look past it these days.
That's bollocks. Turki has Dana's voice in his ear. The fight is absolutely nothing to Americans. In terms of name value, it's a fight that never happened in the UK before. Like it or not, the two of them have been two of the top 3 names of the past decade in boxing. However, the US doesn't care a out boxing unless they're mexican. Check out Crawford, an all time great, 's PPV buys or perhaps check out wilder's US PPV buys.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑08 Aug 2026, 18:36 @EddieHearn if you want the fight in the UK, then you should've put up the money, you keep pleading for Fury-Joshua to be in the UK, but the real powers are putting the event in New York City's Madison Square Garden November 20 because the real powers @Turki_alalshikh & Netflux are putting up the money. Public lobbying, but not putting up the money is a bad look & it is how Eddie Hearn moves nowadays in the year 2026. And that tells you all you need to know.
I agree, Turki has made this problem himself, the buck stops with him. Signing contracts all over the shop and making a clustrfk of it all. His money will get him out of it, as I am sure Hearn and Joshua will eventually relent with a few more million on the table.joshj909 wrote: ↑08 Aug 2026, 18:53That's bollocks. Eddie doesn't have the money to lose to pay them what Turki is willing to pay them to fight for Dana. Turki is an idiot before he's a boxing fan and he's proving it time and time again.
Don't agree. If Turki wanted the fight anywhere other than the UK, he should have given out contracts that state it should be. I don't know how anyone can criticize AJ and Eddie for wanting to honour what's in the contract.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑08 Aug 2026, 18:36 @EddieHearn if you want the fight in the UK, then you should've put up the money, you keep pleading for Fury-Joshua to be in the UK, but the real powers are putting the event in New York City's Madison Square Garden November 20 because the real powers @Turki_alalshikh & Netflux are putting up the money. Netflix are also to blame.Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑09 Aug 2026, 06:32I agree, Turki has made this problem himself, the buck stops with him. Two washed up British heavyweights long past their best won't mean a jot to anyone in the USAdickbelden2 wrote: ↑09 Aug 2026, 12:39 it will do the biggest view #s & live gate in NYC ! Netflix has done their homework. It will be awesome !

I never understand the maths of scenarios like this.dickbelden2 wrote: ↑09 Aug 2026, 12:39 it will do the biggest view #s & live gate in NYC ! Netflix has done their homework. It will be awesome !
Atleast Vegas subsidises fights though the casinos and hotels, NY won't even notice it. They'll fill it up and the tickets will average out significantly more than Wembley but it's the British fans that lose overall.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑10 Aug 2026, 16:04I never understand the maths of scenarios like this.dickbelden2 wrote: ↑09 Aug 2026, 12:39 it will do the biggest view #s & live gate in NYC ! MSG holds 20k, Wembley holds 90k. So the average ticket at MSG would need to be four and a half times more expensive than a Wembley ticket to raise the same revenue. Even given the astronomical price of things in NYC that seems unlikely.
