One pillock on the British forum ranks Lennox Lewis, followed by Naz, as the greatest British fighter of all time.

Fortunately it's only his opinion Bennie,But I suppose when you have only been watching since 1990/2000 it would give you clouded vision

I know many street beggers are drug addicts & hustlers, but sometimes I'll see something that touches my heart and I'll help. I prefer to buy food when it's possible, sometimes I'll give a few bucks. But I can usually spot a hustler, and I'll just ignore them. As for organized charities, I know a major one that does a lot of good, and it's board of directors have also skimmed off the top. One involves a major entertainer who passed away nearly twenty years ago. His organization has done some wonderful things and for that I credit him. But not all goes to the cause. I know this for a fact. I do not contribute to organized charites, regardless of their legitimacy, however my wife does.
Then I guess you wouldn't be interested in a copy of my book . . .

If you wrote it, I believe it. Right now, I'm focused on helping a few who are very close to me, as I have been helped by them when I needed it. If I should return to a point in my life where I can contribute to helping others, I just might check out that book.
Thanks, but I wouldn't buy that particular book if I was you. (Even though I wrote it and get a royalty everytime they sell one. :TU: ) I wrote that book for tax lawyers, CPAs, and financial professionals. There are a lot of books on charitable giving written for the general public, and I'd be happy to refer anyone who is interested to some of those.

HI Guys, Here are a couple storm pictures of Rose & me in front of our house this year.
The top photo that has Rose & I in it was taken in early Dec. after the first snow hit. That was about 18 inches here.
The one below is after the 3rd storm hit just a week or so ago adding 12 inches to the 2 ft that were on the ground. Taken from roadway in front, the plows pushed it to an embankment of about 4 feet. The Xmas lights are still on the house as i am unable to remove them yet.
I decided to turn them on for the picture although they have been off for a few weeks already. I figure late March for ground to show again, Expecting 4 inches tonite they said and another small storm to hit Tuesday. Rose does a fine job of shoveling out the driveway-doesn't she ?

Oh No ! No doubt heading our way again. I know they are talking about wet weather coming up from the south here and merging-depending on where the temp. line goes- we get rain/sleet or snow. The plows are warming up yet again.
Good luck Tom on your meetings. Tread carefully on the ice as people here are going down like a ton of bricks. A lawyers dream you might say.

My meeting was cancelled. :TU: Good thing too. It got really COLD once the sun went down!

I handled any slip-and-fall cases when I was practicing. Never had to. I made plenty of money decifering the Tax Code every time Congress passed one of those tax simplification acts!

I had to put my big, beautiful labrador to sleep yesterday. His back leg had been playing up for a few weeks and wasn't getting any better with medication, and he seemed to be in pain yesterday, breathing heavily and struggling to settle. I wasn't going to let him suffer, so I made the decision. He was 12.

It's great to be 50. you'll see!

Man, it's really hard for me to imagine Tony turning fifty. I still see him as he was during the mid-1960's.
I can picture Frank with his three little son's, Frankie Jr., Tony & Bobby in tow, walking thru the Olympic on their way to the dressing room for annual Jr. Golden Gloves championship match.

Today it's great to be in contact with the "Tiger", as it was watching him rise from a "Pee Wee" junior champ, to a welterweight title contender.
His left hook was legend thruout boxing, from the time he was just a kid.

God Bless you Tony. We love you!

A very difficult decision to make, but a necessary one.
Take care.

That's why I will never again post in those forums, first off they are always rude when
you try to say anything they don't agree with, and second I have found so many people on there think guys like Jimmy Young is an all time great, to me that is a joke, who is next the ''great'' butterbean.

And I still see Tony the way he looked back in the early 1980s with the long hair, when he was fighting regularly on network T.V. :TU:

My sympathies Bennie, I feel your pain, having just put our own Lab, Lucky, to sleep last August. The average lifespan of a Labrador Retriever is 12 to 13 years, so your Lab had a full life. It's a difficult decision to put a dog to sleep when the time comes but it's the right one. What more can any dog ask for then to live their lives with someone that loves and cares for them? You're a good man Bennie!
