Betting thread
Re: Betting thread
Just a few small bets for me this weekend. Calum smith on points at 2.75. Manny Pac via points also at 2.75. Cleverly via ko/tko at 6.5. Biggest bet of the year for me next weekend on BJS to win.
Re: Betting thread
Nice start, I was on Calum pts aswell, tempted to do Groves inside 3 but undecided...BillyTKid wrote:Just a few small bets for me this weekend. Calum smith on points at 2.75. Manny Pac via points also at 2.75. Cleverly via ko/tko at 6.5. Biggest bet of the year for me next weekend on BJS to win.

Re: Betting thread
well..... I had put £50 Clev on points, then in round 3 or so I put £30 on Bell ko.... so ended up with a hole in my pocket. that's boxing betting I guess. I really cant believe Bellew couldn't stop a finished Clev in last 3 rounds... but whatever.
I'm looking at a BJS win next week

Big bet for next weekend coming up.

Like I said free money if Crawford does his job, pity I talked myself out of itlittlepug wrote:callum smith, Degale, groves, Joshua, lomenchenko, quigg and Crawford to win gets you 1.5 to 1 , trying to decide if its worth a monster bet odds aren't great but looks like free money to me.
Re: Betting thread
Skeet and Eubank to win and chisora on points gets you 61-1 and to be honest can see those results happening, feel free to talk me out of it !
Re: Betting thread
Gone big (for me) on BJS against Eubank. Even if Eubank proves me wrong, I just don't see how such an unproven fighter can be nearly 50:50 odds with an unbeaten British/European champion who has five 12 rounders under his belt. Eubank has never gone past 8...

Re: Betting thread
I am medium on BJS and some on points.
Irrelevant as in past but I also put £2.50 on Bayern to win at half time, when they just lost a player and went a goal down. 50-1.
Total winnings, not that great (£125) but buzz and satisfaction = AWESOME

Re: Betting thread
I haven't seen a lot of him, but Velez to beat Gradovich at 9/2 seems ridiculous. Especially as the mandatory challenger Lee Selby said Velez will win.

Re: Betting thread
Good point. Velez is unbeaten. You can get 6/1 on Ladbrokes.WelshJack wrote:I haven't seen a lot of him, but Velez to beat Gradovich at 9/2 seems ridiculous. Especially as the mandatory challenger Lee Selby said Velez will win.
Re: Betting thread
What price andy lee v korobo.
Re: Betting thread
Worth at least £10 surely especially as Gradovich isn't special.reggaereggae wrote:Good point. Velez is unbeaten. Re: Betting thread
Has anyone seen Velez fight? He's nowhere on the BoxRec rankings.
Re: Betting thread
He's 70th at FW, which reflects the limited opposition he's built his unbeaten record against.bruthead wrote:Has anyone seen Velez fight? He's nowhere on the BoxRec rankings.
I've seen Velez fight several times and he's mediocre and should consider himself fortunate to be fighting for a world title. Gradovich isn't anything special but regardless of that and Selby's prediction I'll be quite surprised if he loses.

Re: Betting thread
Any of you experts please tell me how to do an online accumulator bet, 4 to win bets say, say 20 on first, then winnings go on to next bet etc ?
Thanks !
Thanks !
Re: Betting thread
Sky Bet paying over 25/1 for a Chisora points win and a Eubank stoppage win. Surely worth a cheeky fiver?

What site are you on mate? Just click on the first selection you want and a betslip should pop up with your choice in it. Then add more selections and they'll appear in the betslip. Then type in the amount you want to bet in the 'accumulator' box. It should show you the potential returns depending on site. Then click bet. This is usually how to do it.MightyWarrior wrote:Any of you experts please tell me how to do an online accumulator bet, 4 to win bets say, say 20 on first, then winnings go on to next bet etc ?

Fury to win after getting knocked down 6/1 with Hills - looks like very good odds but is there something they know which I don't?
Chisora is a decent puncher and Furys legs aren't too strong

Not sure why. Probably the layman fan reading about Eubank in press and putting a few quid on.jamiedavies02 wrote:Price on Eubank Jr collapsing this morning! 10/11 in places!
Re: Betting thread
Yep, mug punters lumping on. Irrespective of what actually materialises, BJS is still the sensible horse to back.reggaereggae wrote:Not sure why. Re: Betting thread
Definite hindsight job this one, can see the post-fight betting breakdown being either;
a) Can't believe I didn't back an undefeated European/ British/ Commonwealth Champion with amatuer pedigree at 10/11 to beat a novice pro with a famous daddy...
b) Wow, can't believe I didn't Eubank at 1/1 (and bigger in the build up), we won't see that kind of price on him again for a while. He COULD be something special, I'll guess we'll go some way towards finding out tonight...
I'm very much in the BJS camp at the moment, no bet for me tho, atleast not until inplay. I was going to back BJS but I asked Bradley Pryce on Twitter (mutual opponent) and he said Eubank inside the distance which went against my own opinion

Re: Betting thread
I have put an acca on fury, bjs, Gavin and Crawford all to win in any manner.
Lumped £150 on from my bets last weekend (bellew win, quigg on points).
Pays out about £560 I think so about 3.5 to 1.
Just hoping eubanks really is a hype job!!!!

If that does turn out to be the case, has FW sold BJS down the river?187 wrote:It's all about 'Levels' and the smart money is on Eubank
