Not a fan of either but it’s takes a real prick to behave like that when you’ve won!
Not when the same people have been going after you, your family, your friends etc for over a year.

Don't know much about this but if McGregor has been bringing the family into then the gloves are off IMO, he deserves all he gets

I’m sorry but he’s a grown man. Trash talk is what it is and if you can’t take it and behave like that then he deserves to lose his pay and should be fired. Defending his behaviour or excusing it is equally childlike. McGregor is just as bad too by the way I saw what he did with that coach earlier this year, so don’t think I’m defending him in some way as I don’t really care about either.

Sticking a glass of whiskey in front of a Muslim and asking him to have a drink with you is always gonna be a bad idea too.

Conor attacked a bus he was in injuring several people causing them to miss their fights and a payday, insulted the man's father, manager, region, and people at a deep level. Conor got off light if you ask me. It's no surprise to me this happened. Conor's a piece of shit and got slapped with reality. I wish Khabib wouldn't have done it. But since he did, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving set of individuals. It was very enjoyable watching Conor get beaten on all fronts last night.

Why be nice to someone you despise just because you beat them in a sporting contest? The UFC created this circus of thugs and meatheads and ended up with a predictable outcome.

It was predictable. Funny how everyone was so shocked at the outcome given the animosity between these two.

He doesn’t have to be nice, the opposite of nice isn’t necessarily jumping over a cage to attack people though is it?
I had to laugh at his apology or lack of, why is no one talkjng about the bus? The guy was arrested it was talked about for weeks and all over the media, why does he think nobody talked about it?

I believe it was in reference to people's shocked reaction to what happened. They were so shocked.
I in no way condone what he did. But I understand why it happened and am in no way shocked or surprised. The UFC team acting so surprised is funny. And especially Bisping talking about how a fighter should conduct oneself after winning a match was hilarious. He spit on the corner men of a fighter he had just beaten. He is notorious for his unsportsmanlike behavior. Now these guys are sitting high waving their fingers.

Yeah, and the perspective is that khabib can’t control himself and got so upset that someone called him names he attacked people. The bloke is an idiot.

Meh, it got as personal as it could i guess. I doubt mcgregor would react well to anti irish/catholic/republican bigotry, and set about him when he was trapped inside a vehicle. The ufc actively used the bus shenanigans to promote the fight... niw Dana is crying the brand's image took a black eye with the melee last night?

Meh. He was emotional at the time and provoked. He hasn't shown a history of this behavior. So, I'm not so quick to crucify the guy. But of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion. The dude wrecked Conor, and it was a great showing. What happened afterwards was unfortunate, but whatever. I've been watching combat sports too long to be affected by these incidents outside the fight.

the hypocrisy as Imposter also says is laughable
I dislike McGregor so much that I'm not an objective onlooker, for me Khabib jumping the cage and singlehandedly starting on a mob is fvcking epic- it's like the Larry Holmes running broad jump at Berbick writ large. As far as damage done it's to either Khabib's career, ok he's fvcked himself silly lad, And to the UFC image. Although given the way they set this up as you say one can hardly shed tears for them on account of an athlete 'sullying the image' of a sporting brand that regularly embraced the gutter in the buildup
All in all, McGregor smashed, his millions of idiot fanboys back in their box, and the goons running the UFC look stupid, get their cash cow beaten and humiliated, and the only costs are to Khabibs career (hey ho) and the UFC brand underlining the totally classless way they have promoted this circus. Pretty good night all in all.

I would say it's not encouraged, but after seeing how they ran the bus attack for the promo to the fight, I would be lying. It's combat sports. The same people drawn to two men beating the shit out of each other most likely don't mind seeing some pandemonium outside the ring too. Maybe I'm wrong.

Yes. Words and actions have consequence, sometimes those consequences aren't pretty.
Dillon Dannis deserved everything Khabib was trying to give him. Conor has been shown to be the one who attacked Khabibs team members before any attacked him.

Remember though these guys are angels compared to a fighter the UFC did used to promote and would do again if he got released from prison(though I imagine a visa would be hard to get for a convicted bank robber/drug dealer

)
