In what world is this about Conor and not directed at me?
It’s painful to debate with some people on here.
Which has exactly what to do with the gangster comment you believe was aimed at you? And yes you are right, the comment you quoted was directed at you and I stand by it. Stop being a girl and live in the real world where abusing someone for months can end up getting justifiably physical when the person is full of adrenaline.
You sound like the kids in class who used to say whatever he wanted to other kids and then ran to the teacher when someone retaliated.
I didn’t think the gangster comment was aimed at me, go back and read my post that you both misunderstood.
I said he (you) tried to insult me AND wrote the gangster comment. Two separate things, like he did 1 and 2, why on earth would I think the gangster comment was aimed at me, as childish and laughable as it was?
You think physical violence was justified? Then I feel embarrassed for you. Grow up.
Yes, you threaten someone's family, insult their friends, family, culture, country and religion then you deserve everything you get. All things that happened during the lead up to this fight. It crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed and justifiably lead to a physical altercation.
If a man calls my wife a person in front of my is it not acceptable for me to get physical? Of course it is, get your head out of your arse.

What should people call her if not a person?
Oh and no it’s not, stop being a fornicating child all your life and grow up.

What Khabib did was very stupid, he shouldn't have done it and I don't support him doing it. But I think the people or person he attacked deserved it so I beleive it was justifiable. I wish Khabib didn't attack Danis despite Danis being one of the biggest pudenda to be walking the earth. However I believe that's when you say and do certain things you can expect a physical retaliation.

I liked the Gremlin's post fight interview comments:
"Where you at McNuggets?" You piece of s---. I'll whup your a--. If Khabib doesn't, I will."
Then in the post fight press conference he stated the following:
I thought Ferguson looked jaundiced.. He nearly got finished by a shopworn Pettis.. don't think he's got anything for Khabib.

Conor doesn’t have half the heart of Tony. Him and Tony would be fun, but I agree I think Khabib would dominate him.

Really the only title fight to make though.
I wish a prime BJ Penn was still around though. Prime BJ vs Khabib would be amazing until BJ gassed.

You've got a three headed monster at 155... the division has been quite fragmented and may not get better anytime soon, as I suspect Khabib may have shelved himself for a bit with his post-fight antics.

I think as long as Khabib and Ferguson fight next then it will be ok. Who else is in the mix with a claim for being top dog.

I agree. The view that an limited amount of words, abuse and bile should go unpunished does not sit right. And I don't agree that getting physical is some holy grail, red line of sanctity that must never be crossed. Some people deserve a good smack in the mouth. Those Irish louts being an example. And in this specific case, the guy Khabib attacked is a fighting man, it's not like he will need months of counselling to recover from the mental trauma of being attacked.

In terms of the fight It went slightly as I expected, actually McGregor done better than I thought. He done well on the ground and neutralized Khabib somewhat. He didn't really take much damage in the fight, he was just outgunned by Khabib. He will be happy to go home with minor damage or not take any significant blows with his millions earned.
McGregor could not stop the take downs which led to him being even outstriked. He was worried for the take downs most of the fight which led to his sloppiness.
Was a not a great fight. Just the right man won. Probably no point in a rematch either, Khabib will just take to the mat in another snoozer.
I was also surprised and impressed about how well Conor did on the ground, I expectedly Khabib to just put a hurling on him like he did to Barboza. I do feel though if it hadn't have been Conor and a championship fight it may have been stopped in the second.
He was well prepared for the ground game by the looks of it. Khabib was having a bit of trouble pinning him down and landing any significant strikes. And the second round was where Khabib landed most of his heavy artillery and yes McGregor could have arguably been stopped at this point, but McGregor wasn't giving up just yet at that point.
He was certainly humbled.
For me it will be interesting to see who McGregor takes next. Maybe Diaz makes the most sense as it will sell big. A Khabib rematch will still sell big, but other than that I can't see who else is out there. I think he lost a bit of stock after this fight and needs to rebuild., but I think he is purely init for money now. Maybe two more fights and that's him done.

Diaz makes the most sense. It will sell a hell of a lot and it's a winnable fight for him.
Thanks, that was a great watch. The Irish properly embarrassed themselves there.
Clowns.

Are they proper Irish or Yanks who've eaten a spud and think they're Irish?
Just asking because we're always told how well behaved the Irish fans are at the World Cup and all that.

Generally irish sports fans can't hold their liquor and like to sing or chant about Irish republicanism & the ira. It was somewhat ironic that McGregor upset Khabib by calling him a "terrorist" despite entering the arena to IRA anthems. If someone called McGregor that i reckon he'd be similarly upset.

What a load of old bollocks.
Most Irish people don't sing about the IRA, you do love a sweeping generalization.
McGregor is an utter bellend, that's clear, but that doesn't mean he's representative of an entire nation.

Conor and khabib should be sacked instantly by the UFC,conor punched khabibs relation on top of the cage which is why he got clocked and khabib dives over the cage to have a fist fight with one of conors team. Now if the UFC and Dana White are to make a statement this is it,they done it paul daley when he smacked( didnt connect properly but hut him) Josh Koshcheck after their fight and he eas thrown out of UFC so we can't have double standards but hey money talks in the States.

Colin Vs Beep Beep was the first MMA bout I've ever watched. But surely Conor Vs Tony Ferguson makes more sense? He's a stand up fighter as well right?

I think I'm right in saying that Conor isn't employed by the UFC therefore can't be sacked....?

If this is the case and conor has stakes in the company then the UFC have shot themselves in the foot, this crap will happen every time this thug fights. It happened with the diaz brothers and the water bottles and monster cans and then happened in new york and now this,he is a loose cannon
