Larry Holmes vs Gerry Cooney

A one of the toughest fights for Holmes, since Cooney wasn't afraid to stay in front of Larry and trade punches despite the fact of being dropped early on. Maybe Holmes would stop Cooney faster, if he moved more and created more angles for his attacks, but anyway Holmes dealt with Gerry pretty confidently.

Brandon Figueroa v Luis Nery, only from May last year but a real barnburner, both very offensive fighters exchanging with regularity to body and head. Nery started the fight quicker but Figueroa began to impose his size and volume as the rounds wore on. Jabs & defence at a premium but great entertainment!
