Thought it was him, I wish he'd fight as aggressive as he has in the past. They way he took apart people like Corrales and Gatti was spectacular.

Had Froch 4-3 up but wot a ko, Froch is genuine world class, don't let your hatred cloud your judgement, Groves missed his chance last time.

Are there many people who question whether Froch is world class?

I'm seeing a lot of talk about "that punch" from Froch. He was in control and never looked in real danger of losing to me.

I think we all saw what was supposed to happen in the first fight.

Good point. The only difference in the first fight was the first round perfect right hand by Groves, and it still was not enough.

Yes, really. Like I said in another post, sometimes the chess match is often over before the bystanders realize it is. Froch executed his plan to perfection. It played out the same way the first fight would have if not for the one punch.

If you think Froch was in complete control of that fight you simply don't know what you're watching.

Groves was starting to take control of the fight at the time of the stoppage and had outlanded Froch in the fight. How on earth was Froch 'in control'?

tbh I also thought Froch looked comfortable, but agree Groves started to come into it in rounds 6,7,8 until he got ko'd but Froch proved what champion he is.

I'm not really sure why you think I'm trying to underplay what happened, I just don't forget the previous seven rounds of tight, tetchy boxing because one fighter wins on one punch. To think Froch was in control is just bizarre, even he knew he wasn't in the post fight interview, but yeah, you're right.

Tanzio is just playing his usual shtick, don't take him seriously. His suggestions that he can see into the future, knows the bout had a set outcome rounds before it ended, and knows what Froch was thinking throughout the fight give a good laugh.

Nobody was 'in control' but Froch didn't look uncomfortable. I had him winning at the point of KO.

Yes, I have had more than a few, but yes I am very happy for Froch, and I don't mind annoying a bunch of his haters. Carl said what he was going to do and he did exactly that.

This weekend Carl Froch is the King of England, and he earned it with an excellent performance, silencing the doubters. Carl Froch rules the sport of boxing in England at the moment, and he deserves every bit of it. He turned back the clock one more time.

Froch obviously kicked more than Groves' ass tonight, like half the fat drunken population of the nation i suppose.
