Is miscarriage an 'unspoken' in the community?

If Fury had announced that his wife had miscarried and that he was therefore postponing the Ustinov fight, everyone would've understood that and wished them well unreservedly. Same again with Hughie: explain the situ to the public and postpone Ustinov.

Postponement would've allowed Fury to train for the right man.

Pretty sure meeting up with some mates after having the shittest of weeks and going through with a professional fight aren't the same thing.

Not sure anyone should really be surprised if someones wife having a miscarriage after 5 months., very close uncle going into a coma and a last minute opponent change for a guy 5 inches taller makes someone pull out of a fight.

And I can totally understand if they didn't want to start telling the whole world about the miscarriage straight away.

I don't blame him at all, I just think that he should fight Ustinov ahead of Chisora when he returns. If he didn't want the former, the time to say so was when Chisora pulled out.

I'd like to see Fury-Ustinov, as I had hoped to see Fury-Haye.

Wow! Never, in the entire thread have I insinuated Peter had anything to do with Hughies illness, that was others. As for the wannabe "gypo" thing, I have stated on here many times I'm not a traveller but have a lot of friends in the community, I have more non-traveller friends. Why are you racist against them? Did they bully you at school? I doubt you have ever even been in a boxing gym or you wouldn't be so racist as most have loads of travellers in them. Changing opponents ,at the last minuite is a good enough reason , after all we are talking profesional fighters here with a lot at stake .

Uncle , getting sick and going in a coma , after a minor op went wrong , if your close to him thats a good enough reason .

There's nothing wrong with not wanting to offend people. And those phrases are offensive, I wouldn't use any of them. I don't think that makes me politically correct so much as, well, nice!

Maybe, we'll never know. It's pretty pointless to speculate. Fury certainly seems quite emotional behind all his bluster for the cameras. It Could've been the straw that broke the camels back.
