28th Feb Fight Discussions & RBR
Re: 28th Feb Fight Discussions & RBR
Stopped being a contest when Avalos hurt his arm, but Frampton was on top throughout. He really is something special.

LOL. True. Did Barry drop the hint that Hearn is going to get chinned off by Quigg?Counter-puncher wrote:Eddie Hearn should fvcking shoot himself letting quigg out on his own to get double-teamed by Frampton and mcguigan

Hopefully ITV, unfortunately I think PPV is more likely.rossij8 wrote:Would he fight Quigg on ITV or Sky PPV?

He said something about not being sure who represented Quiggexpe wrote:Didn't notice that, what did he say?Sklar wrote:LOL. True. In fairness, I think Scott could lose a debate with himself........stevieb_8006 wrote:I thought that. He got mugged right off thereCounter-puncher wrote:Eddie Hearn should fvcking shoot himself letting quigg out on his own to get double-teamed by Frampton and mcguigan

I dunno, I took it more as Barry being a bit snide, sort of pretending he didn't know Hearn represents Quigg, rather than implying any sort of impending split.Sklar wrote:LOL. True. Re: 28th Feb Fight Discussions & RBR
Eddie seems to know his boxing, he knows Quigg will get beaten comfortably by Frampton.
I think he is happy for Quigg to get eaten alive in the lions den as him being there promotes the fight that Sky will more than likely broadcast and Matchroom more than likely to promote.

Quigg hasn't got the charisma or the excitement to sell the fight the way it should be. The fight can't happen on ITV, therefore in my opinion it shouldn't be considered at this moment. Santa Cruz and Rigondeaux are where the sights should be set.
LSC would be huge with national broadcasting both sides of the pond without PPV, you could end up with a true cross Atlantic star if the styles mesh nicely.

Was it meant to be 'walking in Memphis?" But I think Fury, changed it to "Walking in London".banjo wrote:So back to the real news, what was Fury singing?

Great sequence of fight. I watched every fight I wanted on both cards without a single overlap. Eubank, Whyte, Fury and Frampton. Eubank v Chudinov the fight of the evening largely thanks to Swedish ref.

Nor is he accurate "I saw Rigondeaux's last fight and he got dropped 4 or 5 times".....errrrr....maybe he's innumerate as wellILikeBeer wrote:Haye is a lot of things, but a pundit he is not.Baboon wrote:Did Haye really just call Rigondeaux "rigondolo"......
