It was a guaranteed outcome, of course we were rooting for David Price but at the end of the day it was a sure thing.

He has marked up Povetkin a bit so did have a bit of success but I think that was purely down to the size of Price to Povetkin. If the Russian was bigger this would have ended quicker.

Price surely has to call time now, that knock out has to be a wake up call for his own safety.

Well, Povetkin-Price fight had both expected and unexpected content. I'm glad for Povetkin, he needed such spectacular KO, but sorry for Price also, credit to him, he showed heart.

Held up by the ropes, it counts as a knockdown. Didn't exactly do Price any favours.

That stagger was very reminiscent of Thompson-Eubank, and Price's call to not force it reminded me of Wlad's mistake against Joshua.

With fewer knockdowns on his clock, Price could learn from that. Great performance from the big man, though. Well done, Dave.

Price can be proud of that performance. Hopefully he can retire in defeat on the back of that similar to how Wlad did.

He didn't panic which was huge and he made Povetkin take a count which is huger.

Povetkin is looking old. His short stocky frame isn't best suited for fighting Super Heavyweights at 38 years old. He used to be able to overwhelm with volume but he can't do that anymore. Seeing as Wilder beat Ortiz, i'd now expect he would have lost to him if that fight had gone ahead.

repemption? weve been here several times. shows somes power but gets brutaly iced, its going to keep happening above domestic level.

I’d have liked to see him try to finish Povetkin when he almost dropped him in the corner. The red hesitated before giving a count. Price didn’t move at all.

Credit to Price. But surely that's got to be it for him.
