I remember talking about that with someone else before and they said they wouldn't do it as it would mean the commentators would be out of a job. Well so be it then! Get better commentators then if more people would rather have no commentary but atleast give people that option if they would prefer it.

They only gave Povetkin real credit after he was knocked out and that too to make AJ look good with the win.

A prime Fury, probably. The current version? Not so sure.

Even the prime Fury is fast becoming a mythical creature. He needs a live opponent. Something he’s rarely faced in his career to be honest.

Of who we know little. He’s beaten his two comebacks with no trouble, he’s only 30, he’s young enough to shrug off two years out. The wilder fight is the real test, obviously.

Good main event. Povetkin came to win and is maybe the most offensively skilled opponent Joshua has faced.

Undercard was wank. Campbell boxed well enough without any tension. Although amusing to see Mendy’s team celebrate so much. Okolie should be given a Junior Witter style blacklisting until he goes away and learns how to entertain.

And I hate the way Adam Smith says prince of pality.

But I liked the way Whyte got pissed off at not being ringside, you could hear him desperate to get down there. Then I liked the way Anna was pissed off at him. Also, Whyte really feels the cold.

And Nelson’s “wanna bet?” at Bellew out boxing Usyk is something that shouldn’t be forgotten...

When Chisora is "on", he has is a right handful but he can just as easily be "off" and the guy does not care if he wins or loses as he knows he can get another shot or another big fight so that Fury beat him so well is not the great result suggested.

Fury is potentially among the most overrated fighters in British boxing history.

I haven't watched the fight again, but Povetkin comfortably picked up the first and the third, but the other rounds were pretty tight. I think at the time of the knockdown, it was about even. At the end of the day though, point scoring during a knockout is pretty irrelevant. Joshua only been the distance once, and the scorecards were fair on that occasion.

Joshua took a long time to find his range, and at times needed to weather the storm, but once he got some rhythm, and Sasha lost a bit of his spark, it was only really going to one way. I think anyone coming to fight fire with fire with Joshua will eventually lose. Joshua adapts well in fights, as we found with Povetkin and Klitschko. Wilder has poor technique, and relies on power shots to win fights. Fury doesn't have the power to trouble Joshua, and even if he is ahead on the cards, I don't expect Joshua to do a Klitschko and not to go up through the gears in the later rounds.

Sure Pov landed more than that to the body. Powershots seems good and AJ did use his jab more later in the fight more than before. He doesn’t use his jab often as he should.

I didn’t have much issue with people having AJ ahead by 2 rounds. I had it 3-2 AJ with one round even.

Povetkin’s shots were more eye catching but he wasn’t landing much. Outside of his sporadic eye catching shots I thought AJ was out-jabbing him consistently.
