Punches are what get you points in Boxing. Not showboating, and clowning around. If Fury had fought like he did in the 6th and 7th early on then he'd have won, but he didn't. He played around like an idiot.
Exactly!! I score points for boxing skills and hard landing shots, and being the aggressor, not for showboating, dancing around and acting like a douche bag.

Anyone, anyone who scored this fight for Wilder should stop watching this sport. It was a clear Fury win. You can't give Wilder more than 3 rounds. Wilder was missing all damn night. He clearly needed a stoppage. Credit to him. He almost stopped Fury, but he obviously needed a stoppage to win that fight.

it was so easy to score, Wilder did nothing except of knockdowns, he won only knockdown rounds and maybe one more (round 4 as far as i remember) round but it would be already generous for him. even Klitschko did better vs Fury, except of knockdowns of course.

Punches are not the only thing that get you points in boxing, but in order for them to get you points they need to land. One guy clearly controlled this fight for all but two moments, it wasn't DW.

Which is weird because he's a KO specialist, has plenty of swag and bling but is a really nice guy and a family man outside of the ring.

I don't understand why has hasn't connected with fans, he seems ideal for an American audience, even with his ....ahem.... unorthodox style. I really like the guy.

“Wilder sucks.” Yeah, I am the biased one. What a load of crap. Wilder out boxed, and out punched Fury.

Again, respect to Fury for coming back and making it the distance.

Honestly though, it was like if he made the distance people were going to argue he won. The absolute blind prejudice against Wilder is just amazing.

BS. Nobody clearly controlled sh*t in the first 4 rounds. Wilder threw more meaningful punches in those early rounds, Fury put his hands behind his back and played games. I'm not impressed. Clearly you guys are.

Whatever floats your boat I guess. I prefer fighting from my fighters.

WILDER OUTBOXED AND OUTPUNCHED FURY? REALLY???? :o Fury probably landed 2x more that Wilder (and he landed at least as clean as Wilder, probably cleaner)

He learned nothing from getting outboxed by C- Szpilka. Yes, he does suck. You are obviously blind if you thought he won that fight. I can't fix stupid, sorry.

You are a clown. Wilder won more rounds and did more damage and knocked his opponent down twice.

The dude sticking his tongue out and laying on his back was the clown and clowned in that ring.

The problem I have is that the best possible result I can see for Wilder is 115-111 for FURY which means Deontay gets three rounds.

I'd have to watch it again but I don't believe I could find another round for Wilder. Which one can you give him?

I guess there were some close ones early? Maybe one of those, but two?

You could see it in Wilders face as soon as the fight ended that he knew he'd lost.

That was the face of a man who knew full well he'd been outclassed.

If there is a 2nd fight to between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, I would hope that Deontay comes in around 225 to 230 next time. He seems too emaciated at 212.

Its a shame the scorecards are so far apart on big fights like this. There should be a better way to score boxing evenly with the judges

Threw...not landed. I don't like all the clowning either, but making a guy miss is one of the points of boxing. Fury did that all night long but for two moments. He decided where the fight happened and how the fight happened.
