It happened with Billy Joe Saunders.
I'm sorry, not a banned drug (obviously) but an illegal one, such as dianobol (sp?). I was under the impression that this drug was illegal in most countries, not just boxing.
Honestly, I know nothing of the details of drugs and am very ignorant on the issue. My recollection was that Saunders haa TUE exemption in the uk presumably with UKAD but not with VADA and he was busted by VADA.

A complete numpty has said that Rivas tested positive too.

Can I just ask how many people would be surprised if Rivas tested positive. Personally when he flexed at the weigh in I was shaking my head.

1 in 10 people in our country has asthma. Yet 1 in 5 team GB members have asthma. Poor Bradly Wiggins's asthma was so bad he had to take powerful corticosteroids. Yet he was still able to win one of the toughest tests of stamina in sport, the Tour de France even with his terrible asthma.

I suggest anyone reading this with asthma. Should get into Athletics because if you look at the facts. You have a better chance of making it into team GB.

I reckon the only heavyweight in the top 10 who isn’t juicing/hasn’t juiced, could well be Wilder.

Had this discussion with a few pros the other day!

Parker was the name we came up with in the top 10
Yeah Wilder definitely isn’t the name I’d have as the clean one.

Not really sure why you would say that. His body hasn't changed much except filling out a bit since age 19. He's got an athletes build, almost NBA like.

Wilder was under 200 i believe as a 23 yeer old amature, much skinnier in the upper body. look at him now when hes at 225-230. not that putting on some muscles means peds, but his body defo has changed and hes been far more beefy

Its not even the appearnce though, peds can do plenty w/o changing the look, wouldnt be surprised if every top 10 boxers done something

Not sure if gaining 25-30 LBS in 10 years says much of anything. I wouldn't be surprised if all of them are doing something.

It was much quicker than 10 years. Not saying it mans everything but there was a notable body change imo.

He was 23 when he turned pro and weighed 207/8 for his first pro fight. He's now 34.

and as low as 209 last year. Means nothing. AJ also filled out over time. 230 to 256 in four years. Then down to 247. Neither have tested positive. both have been tested.

Not talking about aj, who may well be plenty juiced anyway. Just saying I think theres been a notable body change for Wilder , with significant muscle gain in the upper body (he never weighed 209 from what I can see either).

Oh, 212. And this thread was about Dillian Whyte, not Wilder. Most HW's fill out from their early twenties into their thirties. It's nothing unusual. In fact, most men do.

Threads related to PEDS, ppl brought up there suspects, you got engaged on Wilder and I simply responded I think theres been a clear change with significant muscle gain (and it didnt take until 30s). Not much more than that. I dont take his gains as some sort of strong evidence against him.

It's all good. Interestingly enough, I went back and looked up Dill. LMAO! Little change in weight. But he certainly looks bigger since the AJ fight. I guess it's all really meaningless!

SHOCK accusation of Oscar Rivas positive test dismissed

Promoter for Oscar Rivas, Yvon Michel has opened up on his astonishment surrounding the current issues with Dillian Whyte.

Michel has admitted he’s been amazed to find out what went on behind the scenes in the days leading up to the July 20 clash.

Whyte tested positive for a banned substance, which is still unconfirmed or denied by his own representative Eddie Hearn.

‘The Body Snatcher’ was then given a hastily-arranged hearing by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) and the British Boxing Board of Control in order to be cleared for the Pay-Per-View event.

At no stage was Michel, Rivas or any member of the team notified of the situation.

Instead, Michel found out from subsequent media reports which uncovered what transpired.

Speaking on social media, Michel described his mood. Also his plans to investigate further.

“We are still amazed by what has happened. And more, we don’t understand what has been the overall process,” said Michel.

“If Whyte tested positive for PED why he has been cleared to fight, on what ground or rules?

That decision has certainly made a huge impact on Rivas’s future in and out of the ring!”

He continued: “Nobody told us anything regarding this situation before the fight or after. We’ve only learned from information through media.

“We are now collecting information wherever it is available. We will take advises in order to protect Oscar Rivas’s interest.”

TEST

Furthermore, an astounding accusation has been made that Rivas himself tested positive. Something Michel was keen to label a deflection from Whyte.

“Anybody who pretends Oscar tested positive on anything is just throwing smokescreen and is simply lying.

“Anyone who will pretend it cannot have any serious evidence.

“Rivas never tested positive on anything during his successful amateur career and his ten plus years as a professional,”
Michel exclusively told World Boxing News.

At present, the world is awaiting news of a ‘B’ sample involving Whyte in order to gauge what the eventual fallout my be.

World Boxing Council chiefs, who sanctioned the fight as an eliminator for Deontay Wilder, have requested all the information from the BBBofC.

There’s real risk Whyte could lose his mandatory status if the WBC conclude there were grounds for serious grievance on the part of Rivas.

For Fook SAKE its his second time . Let me tell you ameteur boxers , all over the world , are tested , they know what to put in there body and what not too . and when they don't know THEY ASK ,, yes i'm talking about ameteurs... Now we have this millionaire PROFESIONAL , who has trainers , nutritionists , dietiscens , Aunty Sarah , uNCLE jACK , AND WHOEVER ELSE YOU CARE TOO MENTION AT HIS DISPOSAL , AND HE GETS CAUGHT again ,, , just throw the book at him get rid of him , get rid of Miller , and anyone else who fails , twice BAN them for life and fook em off , be doing us all a favor then , maybe after a few lifetime bans , the sports stars themselves will clean themselves up , at the moment its worth the risk , , Fook if i was sure i'd only get 12 months if caught i'd rob a bank once a week , If the deterent is'nt enough , people will keep doing it ,

Start making some examples , or just allow it and be done with it ,

Fearon was also going on about Groves battering and dropping Golovkin in sparring, then Groves admitted GGG busted him up and broke his rib and sent him home early
