While Paul is certainly not my cup of tea, the snobbery around this farcical fight is immense. Apparently he’s “not a real boxer” but Tommy Fury is. The same Fury who has also appeared in celebrity TV shows.

What makes him more of a fighter? His BBBofC license? His wins over ‘real’ boxers like Jevgenijs Andrejevs or Przemyslaw Binienda?! Has anybody ever seen him fight...he's terrible. At least Paul brings some KO excitement to his carnival fights.

Whilst I understand your dislike of Paul, i cant help but think Paul would smash Fury to pieces.

Paul has done more for boxing in the USA than anybody else since Mayweather retired other than the Mexican Canelo

Paul seems desperate for the fight to happen while Fury is making it as about as difficult to happen as he can.

Weird considering one's respected because he is a boxer and the other is laughed at.

It's a fine line though.

Wouldn’t say Tommy is making it difficult..
Punish the Fury name.

Tyson’s probably gutted. WWE would have wanted him to come over to help promote the UK PPV.

Looks like this could end up like FMJ v Pac; being left to marinate for way way too long until one, or both, fighter's skillsets have eroded.

It will be a travesty if this fight goes ahead when they are past their peak

Dunno. He did say to Hearn quite publicly that he would beat anyone in his stable that’s under 10 fights.

I can’t see it happening, mind. Hopefully Paul fights someone who has had meaningful pro boxing experience.

Maybe I’m a pudendum, but I like him and see a bit of potential in him. I feel he would’ve stopped Fury.

I also thought he’d beat Fury but he’s not fighting a relatively unknown ex Olympian, who won’t help PPV numbers, and who also has solid power and is a natural 200lber.

lets face it they are both of dubious quality in terms of boxing and both would be well beaten by say Bivol / Beterbiev etc .
Tommy Fury is not " well respected in the UK " its clear he is riding the train .

Tommy Fury is spineless isn't he? Running scared of a YouTuber and the biggest payday of his career.

What a clown.

Fury will be paid more than a lot of world champs to fight against a limited novice.

I appreciate Fury is no world beater but you have to question his stones here.
