All Fury's words recorded and replayed on youtube to mock him.
I thought as the fight was two days out, that Tyson suddenly became quite respectful (especially for him) about Uysk and his skills and achievements.
Unfortunately all his big claims earlier will still haunt him.
It's all fine and good being the mocking big mouth, until you can't back up those words with your actions and with the whole world watching.

Pays to be a bit humble, and maybe this loss will help Tyson to be a bit more respectful.

Here's a few of the more notable ones that I managed to watch right through to the end without skipping.

Gman is part of a little team that hates Fury every other day - gman has his tongue up Hatman's back side. It's the usual suspects. I call him rectangle head.

Could be wrong gotta take another look at it ... seemed like Fury decided to box Usyk when he should have walked through him.
You can't walk through Usyk.

Anthony Joshua tried that in the second fight and came up even shorter, despite putting on a better performance.

Usyk is a dog, as well as a master technician; very difficult to fight against.
There was a point around the 5th and 6th Usyk looked vulnerable.

Sounds of it looks like an immediate rematch, Fury said he'd activate it and box him in October.

I was thinking this myself, whether this fight will quell some of Tyson's worse excesses. Or will he dial up on the 'I wuz robbed' narrative?

I hope it's the former - he now knows he is in with a guy whop is a deadly serious threat, and who has the power to spark him out.

Tyson could still win a rematch, but he will have to box to order and stay switched on for every minute of every round, and even then, it might not be enough, because Usyk's style, as we saw, forces mistakes. It was the constant pressure he exerted on Fury, forcing him continually to the ropes, that drew the opportunity with Tyson forced with his back to the ropes, he was unable to get out of the way of the left, which knocked his head around, and the right that caused the damage.

Tyson Fury could win the rematch - he could also get sparked out by Usyk in the 1st minute of the 1st round.

Tyson will get a second chance to try and beat Usyk, and even if he does win his standing as an ATG is greatly devalued because he lost, and almost got KOd, by a gap toothed middleweight midget .. or at least thats what Fury told us Usyk was.

Usyk is great - make no mistake. But he does also highlight how poor the heavyweight division is when a 37yr old guy moving up from cruiserweight division gives away massive weight and height advantages and beats the heavyweight divisions top guys,

The 90's is considered the 2nd best era of Heavyweight history by most, and it featured a Cruiserweight moving up and beating top guys.

The 90s had a 45 yo washed up figbter from the 70ss win the title and another washed up fighter from the 80's beating a top contender

Bruce seldon had a belt.

This era is top down better than the 90's - at the top of course lewis, bowe, holyfield were fantastic and better than usuk/fury/joshua but the division as a whole is better

That's one of the things that has me citing it as one of the better divisions definitely.

I feel like you could take a guy like Joe Joyce, who's currently ranked like what...15? And put him up against guys that are ranked 6 and 7 in other eras, and he'd kick their ass.

But I mean the 90's was pretty f*cking deep though. Aside from Lewis, Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson. You had Mercer, Tim Witherspoon, Michael Moorer, David Tua, Tommy Morrison.

So there was a lot going on in the 90's for sure. Faces come and go, but there was a lot of interesting things going on that decade in Heavyweight Boxing.

This one unfortunately doesn't have the nice little bow on it as far as how easily it rolls off the tongue "The 70's, and the 90's". This particular decade stands out from like let's say 2015 or 2016 to now.

I suspect here in a few years when Wilder, Fury, Usyk, and all these guys are gone it'll probably dip again.

A former cruiserweight who wasn't 37yrs old, was similar weight, and actually taller than some (we won't mention him being juiced to the gills too)

Craig Metcalfe should be investigated after the 114-113 scorecard for Fury. Dude gave Fury the 12th, 2nd, 7th, 11th, even though Usyk outlanded Fury in all of those rounds. The 12th was a total wipeout for Usyk 18 landed vs Fury's 10 landed (14-7 in power punches, too). With a 10-8 9th round, a 114-113 card for Fury is just insanity.

I'd honestly favor 42 year old versions of Foreman and Holmes over anyone in the division outside of Fury and Usyk. And given Fury's chin I wouldn't count the Foreman who fought Holyfield out of that fight.

All judges gave fury the 12th

the irony is that fury for one of his excuses blamed losing on thinking he was ahead going into the 12th , but he actually won the round for all judges

i looked through metcalfe's history and he has turned in some good cards where b side boxers deserved to win but the two other judges gave it to the house fighter. for example i agreed with his card for zorrilla over prograis. he doesnt stand out as incompentent or corrupt based on his history. having it for fury i strongly disagree with, but by just 1 point i can see how he wound up there. it's not as bad as when feldman had aj beating usyk

Just watched it in HD. had it 116-111 for Usyk. But i would have no problem with 120-107 Usyk. Fury was literally bullied by cruiserweight. It look very bad for tall big guy fighting backwards against smaller boxer like this who in addition is not a big puncher. What is more important, Fury fought totally wrong fight. Usyk is big monster when he is on the offensive and oponents are backpedaling. Fury landed some huge uppercuts and body shots, surprisingly accurate against slickster like Usyk. But Usyk seemed to take almost every round, despite those rounds were close. Fury reminded me his form from first Wilder fight, clowning with pitty pat punches. I can favor him in rematch if he will come with shape and mindset like in second Wilder fight. Sorry for my english guys :box: :box: :box:

Your English isn't a problem, but suggesting a 120-107 card is absolutely batshit.
