He knows he’s squeezed all he can out of the Northern Hemisphere, so now it’s time to rinse everyone down under!
He will win that and then fight Parker.

Is he having dialysis to pass a VADA test? How many boxers/athletes are on this one I wonder? New one on me I must admit!
If it’s a new one on us I’d imagine it’s what is going on.
There is undoubtably something going on in a lot of sports that’s above all our heads we need to admit that.

Is this the mystery solved as to how Canelo passes so many drug tests?

Pretty much as expected. Low risk opponent who will be happy to take the very short end of the purse.
Wonder how many mugs will pay to watch this cack. I hope he gets beat. Big bullshitting dosser.
Even the most ardent Fury fans can no longer compare Fury's resume with Joshua's. Fury, I don't think, is an active boxer anymore. He is going down the Jake Paul entertainment guaranteed victory route.
Strange, as he is not without ability, but perhaps he feels that, mentally, he can't cope with a defeat.
It's more likely that he feels that as long as people are willing to pay to see him fight people not in his class, he's going to do it. If he can make $5 million dollars by essentially standing in the ring and waving before some guy falls over, or $10 million by fighting someone who could hurt him, which should he do - particuarly given that the former is endlessly repeatable and the latter may not be.
The only thing that might change his mind is for nobody to watch this.
What's in it for his fans? I suppose they can make money from his fights. The odds will be poor but if they put enough on then they get a return because they know in advance that he will win. Other than that it can't be much fun as there is zero jeapody in most of his fights.

They're all reporting Tyson will be following in the footsteps of other greats by taking on Cuiserweight champion Opetaia.

Frank Sanchez To Tyson Fury: "Shut Up & Defend Your Title! I’m Ready At A Moment’s Notice"
“Tyson is a great fighter, no question,” Sanchez told BS.com. “But lately he’s been talking more than fighting. He is sitting on the belt. Tyson has grown fat and lazy as champion. He is talking more than fighting at this point. Shut up and defend your title!
“He says he cannot find an opponent. Well, I am ready at a moment’s notice. I believe in my heart that I am the best heavyweight in the world. All I need is a chance to prove it.”
“Tyson and Usyk are basically fighting once a year,” Sanchez said. “It is not right for every other contender in line for a title fight.”
“I have to do whatever it takes to stay busy in my career,” Sanchez said. “I’m going back to camp with Eddy Reynoso at the end of this month. One way or another, I will be fighting this summer. I cannot be inactive. I recently took a tune-up fight to stay busy because it is better than not fighting. But I want to fight top names like Fury, Wilder, Ruiz, Usyk and Joshua. My time is coming soon, but it is becoming more and more difficult to stay patient.”

I haven’t seen one report saying Tyson is following in the footsteps of other greats.
Yesterday it was McKean, today is Opetaia. Tomorrow will probably be someone else.

You're a knowledgeable fan, Mav. You know the greats have all faced the best from the lighter weight over the years.

6ft 2" 199lbs Opetaia? This guy's even smaller than Paris Fury!
At least Usyk is of the same height and weight as PF. Absolute disgrace if this happens.

Yeah. That’s Usyk though unfortunately and we know what happened there. Opetaia is an easy fight for Fury and another one that id have little interest in.
I’ve gone from being a massive Fury fan (whilst also being mindful that he talked a lot of rubbish), going to watch him against Klitschko, loving what he did against Wilder and having a lot of respect for him to now just being bored of him now. Doesn’t change the fact he’s a great fighter but few people want to see him in with Chisora or Opetaia when there are many better fights out there open to him.

There are better fights for him but I wouldn’t mind Opetaia as a warm up. Southpaw, cruiser, hardest fight Breidis….

Will be interesting to see if McKean ends up in the WBC top 15 next time the rankings are released.
Neither he or Opetaia should be able to fight for the WBC title as things stand. Money talks though.

I thought it was absolutely laughable when this man was floated around as a potential ponent for Anthony Joshua let alone Tyson Fury. This is horrible. Hire the man as a sparring partner in prep for Usyk, don't actually fight him.

Tell ya, that Fury, he will fight all comers. That's a real world champion.
He must have flicked through a directory of heavyweights, closed his eyes and just stopped at a random page.

Then decided he wasn’t happy so went down to the current cruiser list.

I kind of think boxing is just a game for Fury now. Make the right noises but just fight over-matched fighters, collect good paydays and retire. I don’t think Usyk or Joshua will ever get a look in.

Nobody complained when Apollo Creed fought a Philly club fighter on his home turf, how is Fury giving Mckean a chance any different?
