I don't know man. I can see Dan's position. He wanted to give Weidman every chance to recover. Chris was absolutely hurt, but he was not out. Weidman has proven how tough he is. I understand you have to protect the fighter. I think had Jacare not did what he did and just hit Weidman, we wouldn't be saying anything. I've seen a lot worse many many times. Like fighters being out cold and the opponent continuing to land punches. I think Dan was in the middle of diagnosing Chris's condition when Jacare was telling him to stop it. It happened very quickly and it was a shot to the temple, not the chin. I don't blame Dan at all.

Dan has been around a long time. Definitely a competent ref. It's got to be a tough job.

Yeah.... I have really grown to like Mike Perry too.

Perry is a better character than fighter in terms of skill. But he’s always in exciting matches and just loves a good dust up.

That he is. That was a short notice fight for Felder and he also broke his arm in the first round. It was by far Perry’s best win but it wasn’t without some extenuating circumstances.

I also had Perry winning round 1 against Cerrone until Cowboy reversed the TD and subbed him. Even though Felder hurt his arm in the Perry fight, Perry showed growth since being with Jackson-Winklejohn. The kid still has time on his side. With his personality and confidence, I see him becoming a pretty big name in the not so distant future.

Tito was still a legit fighter in 2017... Chuck hasn't won in over 10 years and is almost 50.

Silva's age and form, esp since the leg break is well known. But Adesanya has almost immediately found himself in the spot light..... he has no where near the experience of Cormier, Bisping or Weidman.....

In the sense of where both fighters are in the stage of their careers, the fight makes a lot of sense imo.... rapidly rising raw talent vs extremely experienced veteran who has seen it all...... also it is a great promotion for a local crowd....

I expect Adesanya to add another notch to his ladder..... just not confident enough to count the spider out all together..... the experience is as polarizing as the age gap...

Well just watched the fight.... gotta say, was kinda tough to see Chuck out there..... he really wanted no part of it before the fight even began....

This fight clearly seemed an action of desperation than pride. Not a good platform for DLH in my opinion....

I expect Adesanya to trample Silva. His stand up would have given a prime Silva problems. This version of Silva is not going to be able to hang.

He doesn't have the MMA experience of the ones mentioned, but he has plenty of fight experience. Stand up is his specialty, and I don't see the Spider forcing it to the ground.

How was the production?

With pretty much all of the worthwhile talent in UFC, Bellator, and One, it's hard to see GBP making any real mark on this side of combat sports.

Absolutely embarrassing watching Tito do his gravedigger routine after KOing a 48 year old who hasn't won a fight since 2007. Oscar should be ashamed of himself for producing this garbage.
