Good, perhaps great in this era and good in most other eras also. Certainly not average and very few would class Fury that way.![]()
remember saying years ago prior to Klitchko , when is he gonna step up , I will concede he certainly had the talent to be Good ---to ---- great ,

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk - Dec 23 / Jan 24
I have been very frustrated with Fury's level of opposition.
A big part of that frustration is because I know how good he is: he is a superb boxer, no doubt about that, which is why I don't understand the amount of poor opposition on his record. He didn't need to box so many guaranteed victory fights.
As for Fury vs Uysk, I think a case can be made for each fighter, which is why it is so exciting. I'm not going to make a prediction and I am just going to enjoy watching it all unfold.

On other forums and at the bookies Fury is favourite.
On here the hatred for Fury is cult-like. The same posters have spewed their bile daily for months and months. The above poll suggests the Knitting Circle have multiple accounts.

You’ve told us daily for about 10 months that Fury is afraid of him.big lennox wrote: ↑03 Oct 2023, 02:16. I'm not going to make a prediction and I am just going to enjoy watching it all unfold.

Well, given that the fight could have been made over two years ago after Uysk beat Joshua the first time, but Fury decided to box Whyte as a ' tune up', then box Chisora III 'as a tune up' followed by Ngannou, it was not unreasonable to reach the conclusion that Fury was not keen on facing Uysk.BigDoofus wrote: ↑03 Oct 2023, 02:23You’ve told us daily for about 10 months that Fury is afraid of him.big lennox wrote: ↑03 Oct 2023, 02:16. Especially as Fury went on record and said he had no interest in facing Uysk and described it as a ' lose- lose situation'.
But you know all this. Meanwhile, you seem fixated on Joshua.

Hardly any of us actually thought Fury was scared.
The main issue with him is that he doesn’t back up his constant talk.
He claims he’s a fighting man, will fight for free etc…..
The real truth is he will only fight when everything is exactly how he dictates it.
But he doesn’t own that and is happy to blame everybody else for fights falling through.

The Fury nut huggers are as over-sensitive as the man himself.
