When all the other tests he has taken have been clean so far?Baby Face Finster wrote: ↑23 Dec 2018, 23:26 I just checked out the following, but want to know how they know it's still residual from a previous test?

And it stays in your system for 18 months? Something smells fishy here. It just seems like the UFC is bending over backwards to accommodate Jones. Remember when White said Jones would never headline another UFC card again? What happened to that?p4p1 wrote: ↑23 Dec 2018, 23:29When all the other tests he has taken have been clean so far?Baby Face Finster wrote: ↑23 Dec 2018, 23:26 I just checked out the following, but want to know how they know it's still residual from a previous test?

USADA also lost Brocks samples mysteriously.Baby Face Finster wrote: ↑23 Dec 2018, 23:40And it stays in your system for 18 months? Something smells fishy here. He is unlikable, but he's the best. Rules get bent for people like him. It's the way of the world.p4p1 wrote: ↑24 Dec 2018, 00:22USADA also lost Brocks samples mysteriously.Baby Face Finster wrote: ↑23 Dec 2018, 23:40And it stays in your system for 18 months? But regarding Jones, CSAC recommended he submit to VADA testing but because he wasn’t forced to he didn’t. Which was fishy to me because he kept reiterating that he wanted to get his image back.
He’s just so unlikeable IMO and he can’t stop cheating during what should be the his best years.
Is he the best in the world though? He’s been cheating for his entire career. The one fight we know he was clean for he looked nowhere near his normal level.Impractical Poster wrote: ↑24 Dec 2018, 00:26He is unlikable, but he's the best. Rules get bent for people like him. I’m just not 100% sure they’re as independent as first thought. The concessions made for Brock Lesnar are an example for that and add onto that a sample going mysteriously missing.Impractical Poster wrote: ↑24 Dec 2018, 00:25 If USADA is saying it's not positive and residual, why won't Las Vegas let him fight?
As far as the legitimacy of the claim, I gotta take their word for it. USADA is independent of the UFC. If the UFC were lying about it, they would get called out. So, I'm on board. Who the eff wants the best ever on th he sidelines during his prime?
He is obviously being treated differently because of his drawing power. It's sickening that the UFC has bent over backward to keep this card from being canceled even though it inconveniences all the other fighters on the card. I hope Gustafsson beats Jones. It would be karmic justice.p4p1 wrote: ↑25 Dec 2018, 01:11 So from what I've read, the pulsating theory is based on a Russian Drs theory who was one of those responsible for helping the Russian team dope. The IOC didn't buy it and hasn't changed their stance on pulsating, as well others in the industry have disagreed with the pulsating theory.
Jones' test returned 75% of what he had been popped for when he last popped, it seems to me that a residual amount left in the body wouldn't be 75% if that was when he last took it. I don't buy it all.
Others have been banned for 2 years for testing positive for a smaller amount than Jones. Cro Cop was banned because he admitted to taking HGH for recovery after a shoulder surgery on a doctors orders and had the prescription to prove it. Despite a completely clean test he was still bannned for admitting use, the same happened to Machida.
Sucks. But they'll get over it.Nondescript wrote: ↑25 Dec 2018, 13:18 I saw some fighters who are pissed off that the event has been moved to california because the state has one of the highest income tax rates in the country. So fighters will be getting a pay cut essentially because of Jones.
True. I'm guessing they won't be able to get refunds either.Impractical Poster wrote: ↑25 Dec 2018, 13:24Sucks. What really sucks are the fans who had made all their arrangements around it being in LV.

The UFC should offer to accommodate those who are struggling with the change. But I doubt that happens.Nondescript wrote: ↑25 Dec 2018, 13:52True. I was talking more about the hotels/flights and those kind of costs.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑25 Dec 2018, 16:19Any ticket buyer can either use the ticket or get a refund.Nondescript wrote: ↑25 Dec 2018, 13:52True. I considered Anderson legit until he popped the second time. I thought he deserved the benefit of the doubt given the horrific injury he was coming off and his age, he would’ve been stupid not to take something while rehabbing.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑25 Dec 2018, 16:18Yet you consider Anderson legit?p4p1 wrote: ↑24 Dec 2018, 00:40Is he the best in the world though?
