Towards end of the eighth I put 100 quid on Linares to stop Mitchell and got 4-1, thought betfair were a bit slow on that one !

I think I'll passed betting here for now. Just a series of bad luck for me. Image

Don't see it. Cotto will breeze this.

I read Geale is dead at the weight. I'll be taking Cotto by stoppage.

Nice one.

I remember when I had an account with Mcbookie few years back John Ryder fought Jez Wilson and after the fight had stopped I was still able to put a bet on Ryder win 9th TKO @ 10-1. I just assumed it would be made void as I put the bet on after the fight ended but it paid out!

I always tried to do it again but no surprise it never worked wish I put ALOT more on it now

Wasn't he under the weight at the 30 day weigh in? Not sure how to take that.

Yes but making 157lb at official weigh in is totally different (he's still got over 10lbs to lose). He struggles making 160 by all accounts.

Paddy power first to price up method of victory in the Cotto vs Geale fight they have Cotto 11/10 to win by stoppage what do you's think of that price?

Well I've been back and forth and I think 5/4 would be clearly good value. I think it's priced about right. Cotto coasting to a decision is very feasible, but then Geale is so drained...

Blah I've convinced myself to throw the Cotto stoppage in an accumulator. No doubt the other books are just going to watch the line on Paddy's price as usual and just go with whatever it shortens to.

Really do wish some bookies would risk a bollock and actually start trying to analyse fights properly on their own.

I dont see Cotto stopping Geale. I will be going for Cotto by PTS hedged with Geale to win.

Not being a dick, just wondering how it's different. He was 158 at the 30 day weigh in. Seems strange that he'd now be 10Ibs above that.

Difference being now that Geale has 10lbs to lose in the next few days. For the 30 day check weigh he probably had weeks even months.

I'm a bit confused. Has geale weighed in at 168 at the 30 day check weight or 158?

Tis a bit of a riddle isn't it.

Geale is meant to have weighed 158lb on his 30 day check weigh and 167 on his 7 day weigh in.

Think Cotto weighed 164 for both.

Make of that what you will.

The Geale 30 day weight was announced incorrectly according to his promoter. His weight was 174 lbs.

Well ladbrokes have priced cotto at 3/1 to win in rounds 1-6 & 7-12.

If my sums are correct (and I've been drinking) then its a better return

PP offering 6/5 on the Cotto stoppage which is better than the Ladbrokes 3/1 1-6, 7-12 split (you have to remember that you lose one of your stakes on that.)

Have a very small bet on Geale at 11/2 from the early odds but not sure where the value is comparing Cotto by KO or Cotto by decision. So much depends on whether Geale can make the weight okay and rehydrate to be much bigger on the night or if he is just totally drained by it all.

10 pounds in 7 days? that is not hard, don't think it will affect him. Geale PTS im leaning towards. Cotto has been out for a year

It is when it's not your natural fighting weight.

I'm not saying it will massively effect Geale but it certainly won't help him. I'll actually be hedging a little on geale who is 5/1.

Took 6/5 on the stoppage but I think I would have backed Geale if this was set at 160 pounds just think the cut will take a lot out of him

if anyone hasn't got a betfair account, they're doing a pretty good offer via quidco at the minute.

Open a new account through quidco (cashback site), bet £10 on the champions league final, get £30 in free bets and also £25 cashback into your quidco account.

Ladbrokes are offering 6/4 on Barcelona to lift the Champions League trophy in-play between kick off and before the first goal is scored. Has to be taken given that the odds are otherwise 1/3.
