It was a close fight could have gone either way, it was what you liked and what you saw, no fiddle no fix no bad scoring a very close fight.

Sod an immediate rematch - Groves should get the priviledge of other champions couple of defences and then if he wants another fight take it with Degale

Came across poorly Warren.

But, credit to Frank, he got it spot on: Degale gave it away, was never hurt, looked progressively stronger, but didn't go and get it done.

Maybe something telling at the end, too? "Maybe this'll be a blessing in disguise. Maybe now some of the backslappers will disappear and we can get down to business."

Degale didn't let his hands go anywhere near enough. That's why he lost the fight. He had one round (the 8th I think) where he put it on Groves a bit, but then he took the next round off and Groves was catching him more often.

They should let the immediate rematch go. Close fight, could have gone either way.

Have a rematch a year or two down the line, hopefully with a world title at stake. That would be huge.

Groves just said on the radio that he's a PPV fighter from now on.

I had it very close but 1 point to Degale but can see how it went either way cos it was dead close. I won a bit betting on Groves and am made up for the lad. The look on DeGales face was priceless!!

I had Degale by a round maybe even two. He started to slow though and gave away 3 maybe 4 of the first rounds.

the probs is DeGale thought he knew the approach of Groves and the outcome of the fight. DeGale has far more than he showed

Groves won that for me and it was a clear win. Excellent backfoot boxing and counterpunching.

of doubters (including myself) wrong.

Very true, although I did think Degale nicked it, just as Groves tired. Very close. I'm glad of the decision in a way though because tactics won through.

Proved me wrong bigstyle. Looks like the Anderson fight and the tough Sparring with the Dirrell boys paid off big style.
