Well done Kell Brook.

Gavin didn't have the weight of shot to deter the Yorkshireman

Quite right. It's easy to see he can drop 7lbs but he doesn't want to put the work in. Waste of talent at 147lbs.

Well, it was never the fight people wanted to see. Now, Brook needs a big fight against a top level chap. Onwards and upwards, the gimme mandatory is done and the keep busy defence is ticked. No need for anymore 'shake off the rust' fights.

Six uneventful rounds, result never really in doubt. Frankie Gavin poor tonight, looked like he just wanted to survive.

Gavin was there for the money. He'll retire now. What an awful showing in a title fight. Didn"t throw a punch in anger.

That whole fight and atmosphere seemed just weird to me,nobody looked like they were enjoying themselves, Brook was _in sparring mode, switching stance time and again and looking almost bored,as did the crowd,Gavin had some success with ,the odd single shots but. Ultimately outclassed

Frankie saying the right things there. Good to hear, he's still young enough to do something in the sport.

I have say brook deserves all the credit in the world for coming back this active after that attack. It's amazing that he's totally unaffected physically and mentally.

He's enjoying being with Matchroom and enjoying his boxing. Say's he'll be back and eventually wants another world title crack.

Gavin seems like a top guy but I'm not sure where he goes from here.

I wonder if he might have a future as a trainer, he obviously has a lot of technical knowledge.

The only thing he should be saying is that he's moving down to light welterweight.

Froch saying that he advised Brook on his game plan!

His ego knows no bounds.

An absolute sham of a world title fight against a light welter.
