I think Wilder won 4 clear rounds.. the first 3-4 rounds were a split.. first round could have been even. Round 2 I gave Wilder. Fury was busy... busy showboating.. he DID have his moments though.

He would've gassed if he came in heavier. I think it was smart of him. He's just not a very big guy. Fury is extremely big and athletic. You need to have a good gas tank to beat him.

He strutted around pretty cockily after failing to deliver a KO against Stiverne.

First 4 rounds to Wilder.. same as how Fat Dan saw it.

No it wasn't. He looked like a man who knew he had just lost. Even one of the Americans on his team went up to Fury straight afterwards and told Fury that he had won.

Threw...not landed. I don't like all the clowning either, but making a guy miss is one of the points of boxing. Fury did that all night long but for two moments. He decided where the fight happened and how the fight happened.

Wilder made Fury miss just as much, and Wilder landed more, and bigger shots all night.

There were several close rounds. A draw is what it is. Wilder deserves more respect than he is receiving.

I have always felt that Wilder would be ktfo at top level. He has proved me wrong, and I am a big fan of his now. He deserved that W tonight.

I am once again a fan of Fury also. He has redeemed himself. I would feel the same way if he had lost the decision as I felt he clearly did.

There were a few close rounds early that could fairly be scored either way. Fury was showboating and not landing much, Wilder was trying to hit him but not landing much.

I had it 114-112 to Fury. The second half of the fight was easy to score. Wilder got two 10-8 rounds, Fury won the rest. It's not a robbery because a couple of the rounds I gave Fury were close. Looking at the scorecards - without knowing how each round was scored - I think two of the three judges did a good job. The one who scored it for Wilder was clearly off.

If you think Fury was robbed, I disagree. You can't get knocked down twice and do very little in multiple early rounds and cry robbery

If you think Wilder was robbed, you're either biased or don't know how to score. He was outboxed for the majority of the fight and is lucky to be leaving with his titles.

Good fight, questionable but OK decision, no robbery.

The problem here is, everybody has their own favorite boxing style that they admire. Even the judges. I myself like guys that press the fight, land hard shots and knock their opponents down and out. Others like a guy that runs around the ring, showboating, while avoiding getting hit, and good defense.

Overall, boxing scoring is just very subjective. Wouldn't it be great if every fight would keep going until somebody actually gets knocked out?! Then there would be no need to argue over who won.

dagilechia has it right (words I'd never thought I'd type tbh), boxing is scored as a series of individual rounds and on that basis I can't see how TF didn't get the decision.
Yes you can look at the fight as a whole and say anyone who puts their opponent on their @rse twice
would be pretty unlucky to lose a fight but contests aren't scored as a block.

i have never thought that you will type this as well but yeah, sometimes you can get a fight that was scored 118-110 and a fighter that won dominated, and you can see the same score in a fight that visually appeared close but the winner by a small margin but clearly edged most of rounds.

Fair call - I wasn't suggesting you thought Fury won the 12th. I think Wilder's body language was more do do with the disappointment of not being able to knock Fury out rather than knowing he lost the fight. I'd say he knew it was in the balance.

In all fairness even Artur Szpilka was a better Boxer than Wilder. He just couldn't take his shot, but he had outboxed him thoroughly up until the KO. If Szpilka can outbox you, anybody can.
