I think pre RJJ Eubanl would of done better , ,,, now i imagine Eubank trying to be too cute ala Roy , and just getting worn down by Williams ,, I think anyone is a bad fit for Jones has a trainer ,,, problem is a great fighter like Roy in his heyday . believes everyone should fight like himself ,,, and trying to teach and get Eubank to fight like Roy Jones is stupid , its never gonna work , he looked bad last time i seen him and i cn't imagine him getting better ,, its a bit like lomenchenko , trying to get Whyte to do the footwork moves he does .

The last few fights it looked like Eubank was just working on things. If he is getting outboxed at range vs Williams I have no doubt he will go back to being a pressure fighter. He won't just stand off getting picked off. Not in his nature. He will revert to type.

How long will it take for the penny to drop with Roy and Eubank that all their years of work isn't good enough to outbox Liam Williams? I agree he'll revert to type and get the win but it could be too little too late and Williams nicks it. Williams can hang in there in a dog fight for a while

Eubank has that almost Audley like quality of talking utter shite but somehow making me believe him!

There’s no way he’s a better boxer than Williams but I’m banking on his engine coming into play and stopping Williams late. Hope I’m wrong but just think Williams could fall apart a bit under constant late pressure.

What are Roy’s credentials as a trainer ? I’m not aware of him having trained anyone else. It seems to me a vanity arrangement - Eubank can kid himself that he’s picking up the dazzling skills of a peak RJJ whilst Roy can kid himself that his unique training methods can guide a previously average fighter to new heights.

I think Eubank wins though. Liam struggles when he steps up to fringe world level.

they are both front runners, who impressed ppl dominating lower level opp but then failed vs opponents in/around world class

but eubank can win at a bit higher of a level i think, i like him to edge this

I remember him training Isaac Chilemba.

Indeed. Wallin is a bigger man naturally to Joshua and Wilder. If he hit the weights and what not not to the extent of Joshua he'd be huge.
