protest is a natural reaction to injustice.........arthur gave the reaction of a limp noodle who didnt care about continuing. he wanted out, very disappointing so early in the fight and he''d hardly taken a sustained beating
credit to yarde though for changing it up, he did exactly what he shouldve done this time and came forward aggressively vs a slicker but much less powerful boxer

Arthur showed zilch in this fight and looked like he just had no answer no jab and very little movement - how he allowed himself to be trapped in the corner against the ropes so easily is weirdly mysterious .
but Yarde was killin him and there was only one outcome .

It was the body shot that did it
Yep. Left hand to the body

What's amazed me most about this fight was how many people actually seemed interested in it
For me Arthur is as boring as shit to watch and is British title class (which is great & not intended as any kind of slur) or at a push fringe European class, but other than jabbing his way to a dull decision over Yarde, hasn't proved much in his career to be getting this sort of attention.
Maybe Arthur will fade back into obscurity after succumbing so passively. I don't understand anyone's interest in the manner of Arthur's defeat...he didn't want to know and was most probably dazed judging by the way he voluntarily sat down again within seconds of rising.
If the ref did complete the count while Arthur stood up, that's perfectly ok for a ref to do that and his action was vindicated in Arthur's own need to be seated again.
For Yarde's part, he boxed well, punched with real authority and lots of aggression...exactly what he should have done first time round.
I'm still very dubious about where his career will go with W@rren at the wheel
There's just this synthetic feel to his career that I'd love to see him shed and move into meaningful matches from here forwards.
It's like his team know he will get turned over in world class with the current batch of world champions, so instead con the boxing public into believing he's some unbeatable superman...which we all know isn't the case.
If Beterbiev or Bivol continue their form in 2022 I simply cannot imagine W@rren putting Yarde in with either of them.

I think Bivol is beatable .

By Yarde ?
I think Bivol could box his ears off.
Re: Round-by-Round: Lyndon Arthur vs. Anthony Yarde II - 4 December 2021
Haven't been impressed with him in his last few fights and someone with serious power bringing it would trouble him IMO .
Most people said Arthur was going to beat him in that manner this time around .

Yeah, Bivol is due a scintillating performance.
Maybe on 11th December he will show us why some rate him so highly.
Still, I think Bivol would simply go through the gears if Yarde did go all out. I think due to the level Bivol can operate at, he'd anticipate Yarde's attacks. Bivol has a solid look about him as well and very unlikely to crumble.

Yarde versus Joe Smith is a potential war; not the greatest guys but styles match up very well.

Callum Johnson vs Smith is also a potential war. I don't think it will take them long to find each other.

Arthur and Warren have parted company by the looks of it?

This was the last fight on his contract with Frank.
Dnuh if he'll re-sign wit Frank, dounbt it,
Frank ran this bout back, because he already chose Yarde as his man..

Frank’s already come out and said they won’t continue working together - pretty sure it was Lyndon’s decision.

Just got around to this. Bob Williams count was very quick indeed and looked like Arthur got up at 8 for me but Arthur’s body language wasn’t good to I have no issue with it waived off. Arthur lacked heart there… and in such a grudge match.
