Pretty amazing that it would've been scored a draw if Steve Gray didn't give the last round to Usyk
If the Ukrainian judge had also had the 12th for Joshua and one other round, he would also have had a draw Sherlock...
My point was it wasn’t that close and only one round by one judge stopped it being a draw.

Bunce had it 7-5 AJ and post fight just makes Usyk seem like he was handled masterly by AJ.
Barry Hearn… bless him… said 8-4 Usyk and even though Josh is like family he didn’t win that fight.
Bunce’s ball licking skills need work tbh.

“He actually did well. He came a little short, but that’s boxing,” said Mikey Garcia to spam about Anthony Joshua’s loss to Oleksandr Usyk. “He’s a very good fighter, very difficult southpaw, and moves a lot, difficult to hit.
“He went in there and did what he had to do,” said Mikey about Usyk. “But even as it is, I think it was a very close fight. You can make an argument that maybe a round one way could have made the difference.
“Wilder can still fight. Maybe get a fight or two and regain that confidence and get back in training in the fight game. After that, maybe he’ll be ready to challenge the big names again.
“He’s always going to be a threat to the heavyweight division with the power he has, he’s always a threat. There are a lot of options for him.
“Like I said, maybe a fight or two get into the rhythm of things and then make that decision about the big fights. There are definitely a lot of fights that he can definitely partake in and still win.
“He’s always going to be a threat. Someone that has the power that he does will always be a threat, even into the last minute of the last round. You can never count out a guy like that. He being so hurt, get still rocked Fury a few times, even being hurt.
“All it takes is one shot to turn the fight around, swings the momentum, and before you know it, he wins.
“That’s a difficult fight for Usyk due to the size, and Fury is actually a very well-rounded fighter that can use the distance. He’s good at using the distance and the height, and reach.
“That’s a more complicated fight for Usyk, but Usyk is going to be trouble for everybody because he’s not an easy target. He moves well, lots of head movement, southpaw stance, tricky like that. He’ll always be a difficult fight for anybody,” said Mikey.

Joshua won only the 9th round. Those scores are super-terrible. A one of the worst cases ever. I mean, EVER. The matchroom f*ckers clearly wanted to make the trilogy, they don't want to make a deal with Fury.

I used to enjoy him a lot on Steve Bunce’s Boxing Hour when he actually spoke what he thought and without much bias.
Seems his need to get airtime and stay in relevant jobs has clouded his true opinions… which is understandable but I simply do not respect him as a boxing journalist anymore.
Does anyone actually?

Clear win once again for Usyk by at least 4 rounds, that inept/corrupt judge who scored it to Joshua should be struck off.
Johnny Big Bucks Joshua acted like a spoilt brat at the end, trying to pick on an old ref etc throwing his toys out the pram etc. The bully boy showing his true nature that the likes of Whyte were talking about. It's a shame Usyk never stopped him but he got the win and can now move on to the massive showdown with Fury.
Spencer Oliver did so much bootlicking with Joshua in the post fight press conference to the point he could be going down with a case of Cherry Blossom poisoning.

Usyk's face when Joshua took the belts off him before he tossed them
“He’s held onto those belts for a long time, and those governing bodies have charged him a lot of money and put a lot of mandatories on him,” Hearn told IFL TV. “And I think he’s lost a lot of faith in the system and I think he started to not be interested in fighting for belts anymore. I think he just wants to fight for enjoyment and to challenge himself.
“Of course, he wanted to be undisputed, but a lot of that was frustration. He left the ring, cuz he knew, 'I’m gonna do something stupid, yeah.’ And he forced himself, 'I can’t (just leave),' so he went back in the ring and he gave a speech, which, he was a little bit out of it. But it was just pure emotion. That was just from the heart.”

Looks like the face of a stranger when a child is having a tantrum in a supermarket. The 'who's responsibility is he?' face he almost looks intrigued to see what's about to happen

Watching that again, AJ has been misquoted
He said 'How did you beat me?'
'Your not strong, it's because you have skills'
'It's skills that win fights'

In that moment he was like a child in a man's body. No serious adult would ever act like that unless they have legitimate developmental issues or were in the midst of an emotional breakdown.

Of course there's always the possibilty that Joshua was concussed without knowing it, he seemed a bit dazed, confused and forgetful in the post fight press conference. We remember Bellew after being stopped by Usyk, rabbiting on at the mic, constantly praising Usyk and repeating himself, another cringe at the mic moment.
But even so, the boxing reporters/writers at the post fight conference should've been more critical of Joshua's antics and called him out on it.

Frazer Clarke was one of the few who called it as the majority saw it. Bunce telling Joshua he had nothing to apologise for, that it was amazing television: ffs.

I've just listened to BBC 5 Live Boxing with Bunce with his thoughts and interviews after the result was announced. It was quite funny as Bunce said he had AJ winning and then everyone he spoke to said they couldn't believe the scorecards as they thought Usyk clearly won. The more people said it the less he mentioned his scorecard haha. Even Barry Hearn had Usyk winning and when Bunce said he thought AJ won you could almost hear Hearn say WTF in his head. Then David Diamante was interviewed and Richie Woodhall said to him 'it was close and a SD' and Diamonte said 'mate, come on, you think it was close?'
