He comes across as fake to me. Eddie fed a great job of promoting him initially as the nans favourite.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 07:57He is a strange fellow, one minute Mr T preaching to the kids next a road man. *If you ignore the fact that he has avoided Wilder for 7 years and has turned down Fury twice in the past 9 months.

I will give AJ credit if he faces Wilder. I can't think of any reason, other than cash, why they would let him box him. It really is a knockover job. This AJ just doesn't have anywhere near the mentality to beat him. He will be a nervous wreck at the first press conference.

Not sure this new boxing approach is really working out too well, he was marked up last night and frankly he should be dispatching Helenius in a couple of rounds.
Thankfully this current crop of heavies are nearing the end, such a disappoinitng era for the division.

Joshua vs Helenius NEVER sold out, hence why they did not show the crowd and the lighting was extremely dark.
Sick and tired of Tony Bellew talking bol**cks, along with David Haye and Ade.
aj looks and sounds odd.
Now you know why 40 year old Helenius was picked.

It was announced as being a sell out. Are you saying that Hearn is lying?
Helenius is still better than Fury's next opponent..AJ may not be as confident as he once was, but is still more confident than Fury is, hence the different calibre of their respective opposition.

Mate, he is 100% lying. They closed eight blocks. My buyers got upgraded to lower tier.big lennox wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 09:30It was announced as being a sell out. Are you saying that Hearn is lying?

I saw lots of people on Twitter saying they’d been moved at late notice due ‘restructuring of the venue seating’ or something. Definitely wouldn’t have been a sellout.mickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 09:33Mate, he is 100% lying. They closed eight blocks. Liam Harrison going on the offensive on socials, showing clips of last nights One Championship. Judging by the reaction, it was a terrible advert for boxing. He did say "The kid who's dad is famous for eating Chinese" did well....

It comes across that you want Eddie's shows to fail and Fwank's to do epically well. You telling me that's not true?mickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 09:56I do. I go to loads. I'm pissed of with those, too. Pro boxing is generally shite.

No. I'm looking forward to the Wood v Warrington card. I also go to loads more promoters than just those two.jwfg wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 10:01It comes across that you want Eddie's shows to fail and Fwank's to do epically well. It wasn’t a full sell out for sure. But they probably sold out all the seats they had on offer.mickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 09:33Mate, he is 100% lying. They closed eight blocks. Can clearly see they had the stage in the way so fluently behind that was taped off and can quite clearly see the seats above the stage on the upper tier were also taped off.
It didn’t look too bad in there tbh. But there wasn’t nearly 15l-18k in there.

Boxing fans are pathetic whiney little bitches, as hilarious as boxing twitter is, I wonder why half of them even bother following the sport, credit and criticism when due but there's a vast amount of people who's first instinct when they see a fight or card announced is to moan, worst pudenda
