Gorham is 21(16)-0, fights out of Houston & has been a pro for 8 years.
Georgiev is 3(1)-0-1, fights out of Sunderland & has been a pro for under 2 years. Plus he doesn't appear to have any amateur experience.
Does anyone have any more info on this fight? Seems like a strange one. Georgiev's draw was with a bloke who was 22-33-3 & has been stopped plenty of times.

A close ally of Ring Magazine owner Turki Alalshikh, Brown was first listed as a promoter on a major boxing event in December 2023 when he was one of several involved in the Saudi Arabia show that was topped by Joseph Parker outpointing Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua beating Otto Wallin.
Since then, Brown has worked in an official capacity on three further Ring/Riyadh Season events while also making inroads into the Australian market. In January, alongside Queensberry Promotions, he was involved in Agit Kabayel’s homecoming victory over Damian Knyba in Germany.
Brown and Gold Star have enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Queensberry, the UK promoters of Fury since 2018. BS understands that Queensberry, alongside Top Rank in the US, remain the official promoters of the former heavyweight champion. allegedly’s Queensberry will not, however, be involved in the on-ground operation of this forthcoming event. Their relationship with Gold Star is believed to remain healthy, however.
Such a scenario is not unusual. One can look at Anthony Joshua’s most recent fight as a case in point; Joshua, very much a Matchroom-promoted fighter, clobbered Jake Paul on an event promoted exclusively by Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. Shapiro told the shareholders that it was Zuffa and Benn's contract is with them. Justis Huni appoints Josh Arnold to prepare him for fight with Frazer Clarke
Justis Huni has recruited Josh Arnold to train him for his fight on April 11 with Frazer Clarke.
The Australian’s first contest since his first defeat – via knockout, by Fabio Wardley in June 2025 – will be at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the undercard of Tyson Fury-Arslanbek Makhmudov.
He had been scheduled to fight the New Zealander Kiki Toa Leutele in a rematch on the undercard of Jai Opetaia-Huseyin Cinkara on December 6, but the sudden, unexpected death of Keri Fiu – who he promoted to the position of trainer in the aftermath of the defeat by Wardley – contributed to their date getting cancelled.
Wardley’s former rival and fellow Englishman Clarke – who is working under Joe Gallagher for the first time, having separated from Angel Fernandez – will instead be his opponent for what represents a high-risk fight for both.
Arnold is respected in Australian boxing circles for his work with, among others, the junior middleweight Ben Mahoney and the middleweight Michael Zerafa. Huni – at 26 years old, eight years younger than Clarke – continues to be considered one of Australia’s most promising fighters and, to that end, as a late-notice replacement opponent was convincingly leading Wardley on the scorecards until he was dramatically stopped in the 10th round.

Eddie Hearn to listen with interest as BBBoC confirm that April 11 is not a Zuffa promotion
It was this week revealed by Boxing Scene that Spencer Brown, of Gold Star Promotions, will be the lead promoter for the forthcoming Tyson Fury-Arslanbek Makhmudov show on April 11 in London.
That news – which was first confirmed to Boxing Scene by the British Boxing Board of Control on Wednesday (March 11) – has pricked the ears of Eddie Hearn, the Matchroom promoter who recently saw Conor Benn wave goodbye and sign a surprising deal with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing.
Benn, who had been signed to Matchroom since 2016, is set to make his Zuffa debut on that April 11 undercard in a 10-rounder against Regis Prograis.
During an interview with IFL TV on Thursday (March 12), when it was put to Hearn that Brown will be the lead promoter on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium event, he replied: “Is that confirmed, though? Because [Zuffa’s] Mark Shapiro came out on the investor call, which you can’t lie on, and he said, ‘we are the promoters of Fury-Makhmudov’.
“We’ll be looking to get confirmation of that because it’s quite important to us,” Hearn continued. “Does that mean that Conor Benn is not fighting on a Zuffa card?”
Hearn, who is considering his legal position regarding Benn’s move to Zuffa, has been working as a licensed promoter in Britain since 2012. He will know, therefore, that unless a promoter has British licence he cannot be the lead promoter on a British event.
“I don’t want to interfere with an investor call where Mark Shapiro is telling investors, and the market, that they are the promoters of Fury-Makhmudov,” Hearn said. “I could have told you at the time they weren’t. But it has now – apparently – been confirmed that they’re not the promoters and Spencer Brown is the promoter.
“We’re going to need confirmation of that. We will be pursuing that, 100 per cent.”
Robert Smith, of the BBBofC, today (March 13) told BS: “As far as we are concerned it is a Spencer Brown show. He is responsible for the show, he is our contact for the show. It is his show and nobody else’s show.”
So, if a representative of Zuffa, like Dana White, was going to work on the event in an official capacity they would need be report to Brown?
“Gold Star will be the lead promoter,” Smith said. “But he can run the show ‘in association with’ an American promoter which is something we’ve seen many times. Top Rank, for example, have worked alongside Matchroom and Queensberry in the past but, on each occasion, the official promoter of the event is always the British promoter.

Hearn, who is considering his legal position regarding Benn’s move to Zuffa, has been working as a licensed promoter in Britain since 2012. He will know, therefore, that unless a promoter has British licence he cannot be the lead promoter on a British event.
“I don’t want to interfere with an investor call where Mark Shapiro is telling investors, and the market, that they are the promoters of Fury-Makhmudov,” Hearn said. “I could have told you at the time they weren’t. But it has now – apparently – been confirmed that they’re not the promoters and Spencer Brown is the promoter.
“We’re going to need confirmation of that. We will be pursuing that, 100 per cent.”
Robert Smith, of the BBBofC, today (March 13) told BS: “As far as we are concerned it is a Spencer Brown show. He is responsible for the show, he is our contact for the show. It is his show and nobody else’s show.”
So, if a representative of Zuffa, like Dana White, was going to work on the event in an official capacity they would need be report to Brown?
“Gold Star will be the lead promoter,” Smith said. “But he can run the show ‘in association with’ an American promoter which is something we’ve seen many times. Top Rank, for example, have worked alongside Matchroom and Queensberry in the past but, on each occasion, the official promoter of the event is always the British promoter.
"The lead promoter on a British show must hold a British licence."

JEAMIE TKV: BEATING RIAKPORHE WILL PUT ME AT A GREATER LEVEL
Jeamie TKV believes that taking Richard Riakporhe’s scalp will move him to a new level.
TKV (9-2, 5 KOs) will make the first defence of his British heavyweight title against Riakporhe (19-1, 15 KOs) on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s upcoming fight with Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11.
The two-time heavyweight champion will end his latest spell of retirement at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, with Netflix screening the action.
After spending years competing at championship level as a cruiserweight, the 6-foot-5 Riakporhe has filled out into a solid heavyweight and has scaled around the 235-pound mark for his stoppage victories over Kevin Espindola and Tommy Welch.
TKV represents a totally different challenge.
He is a natural heavyweight with underrated skills and full of confidence after beating Frazer Clarke to win the British title in November.
TKV isn’t taking anything for granted. The 32-year-old respects Riakporhe but knows that a meaningful win on such a high profile card will do wonders for his career.
“He's boxed at world level so, in a way, it's a step up for me because he is ranked number nine in the world at heavyweight (by the IBF) and he's No. 5 in the UK,” TKV told The Ring.
“So if anything, beating him will put me at a greater level than I am at now.”
TKV has shown a useful habit of being able to make opponents fight his kind of fight.
In June 2024, Riakporhe challenged Chris Billam-Smith for the WBO cruiserweight title.
Despite being handed home advantage, Riakporhe failed to rise to the occasion and fell to a very disappointing decision defeat in front of a large crowd at Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park in south London.
Only Riakporhe will know just how big a part weight making affected his performance that night but once the fight started drifting away from him, he was unable to turn the tide.
TKV was able to engage Olympic bronze medallist Clarke in a high-paced, inside fight from the opening round of their vacant title fight. It does feel like getting off to a good start and setting an early tone will be a key part of his game plan when he fights Riakporhe.
“Exactly. That's always the aim and the busier I am, the more I control the fight. I tend to stay busy in there. I don't like sitting down because if you waste time in there, you're losing,” he said.
“I make sure I stay busy. I make sure they are fighting my fight. I can say this and that but it depends on what happens. I know what I'm going to do.
“Obviously, it was unfortunate that he didn't win that fight because it would have been good to see him as the cruiserweight world champion. I know Richard and wish him the best but it's just business now.

It is but also very weird that just about a month ago (or whenever the big presser was) Fury and Fury seemed to be close.
Has the rift happened since, was that bravado in the presser simply bravado and putting up a face. Unfortunately, we get so many lies and so many different faces - when they are apparently being genuine - it is hard to believe.
