Los Angeles Dodgers- 13
St. Louis Cardinals- 2

Good thing for the Cards the Dodgers are having another bad year, or the score might have really been ugly.

In 2009, the great Pop Hanley's name joned other legends listed in the World Boxing Hall of Fame's honor roll.
Two guys we don't mess with on the CAWCB thread- 1.) Charley, and 2.) Pop Hanley.
Mess with Pop and he'll make you a land owner!

"Thought on Boxers, Boxing and fights" is Randy's site.
I don't need to pay $2 for that, I can kick myself in the nuts. Problem is I usually step on my pecker.

There is a very good chance that if I had remained involved with the WBHOF, Charlie's name would be listed on the honor roll with Pop's.

Man . . . I was just witness to a brutal scene, luckily, it's a scene from a movie I'm working on. I'm serious.
I can't elaborate, but this film which I can't even name, is going to knock a few people out of their seats!
Cut -print-moving on . . . back to work!

1943 Robinson-LaMotta Photo . . .
This is a good one, an 8x10 B&W print from the first match between these two, the one when the Raging Bull handed the great Sugar Ray his first loss. In this photo, LaMotta is knocking Robinson thru the ropes.
The best part is this is autographed by LaMotta, clearly. The photo was given to me by a fellow lighting tech on the set today.
He was hoping I could see that it eventually hangs in the right place. We have no museum, aside from Canastoga, and this is not really right for that. However, it belongs in a public place where the energy is boxing. Any suggestions?
I was thinking of asking Freddie Roach if he'd let me hang it on the wall of Wild Card, and I know he would.
Freddie's walls, for those who have not seen them, really reflect a lot of great boxing history.
What do you guys think? I'll try to post it for you too see. It's not museum quality, but it's an autographed classic shot of a classic fight. My opinion.

You should be grateful he asked, when he could have ordered.
You best get the scooter and quick. He won't ask twice.
Maybe we should take up a collection, just in case Medicare goes belly-up on him?

Los Angeles embarrasses St. Louis once again . . .
Dodgers - 9
Cards - 4
That's two wins, in two days, and right in Busch Stadium. Total points scored: Dodgers-22 / Cards-6
It's like the Dodgers winning both games by a score of 11-3.
In football that would be a fairly close score, in baseball
This is what the Dodgers have done for me lately, in case anybody is interested.

Alas, I'm not a 'what have you done for me lately' guy. It's a long season, and it still ain't over. Let's see whose laughing with the final standings.
