That was a brutal fight, Anifowoshe ended up in a coma eh, went the distance as well

Aye, correct. Both were never the same.
Kid never fought again, unless you count a few unlicensed bouts back in Nigeria and was allegedly blind in one eye. Died young (1994) and probably due to those couple of fights, after recovering from his coma and blood clot.
Quiroga was killed (2004) over nothing by some gang member, who took offence to some utter BS. Such a waste,
Kid Akeem was so talented though, remember him blasting through opponents, like some Super Flywieght 'Hitman' Hearns and was freakishly tall and powerful.
Close fight which could have gone either way.
