johnson - ketchel - fight anniversary today
my gawd, jack was one hell of an aggressive clincher. time after time leaping in with a hug. averaging a clinch about every 10 seconds in some rounds from what we can see, which is amazing considering the clinches last several seconds of that too. wlad klitschko very similar style, it's not even just the clinching, but the low output, jabbing, prodding and poking with shots too.
like wlad, eventually a nice ko of a smaller opponent, the middleweight stanley ketchel. i wonder if wlad studied johnson to develop the style used in the 2nd half of his career. so similar.

Yeh Czyz had Williams down twice early, only 1 scored though, first one was deemed after bell but I thought it should've stood, Williams recovered well though and forced a retirement
