It is big, backed it already and just gone in for more, there is a 4/7 Blackwell stoppage out there, don't think the 11/10 will be around for long

Certainly was. I seen PP was down to 4/5 just before the fight which was still not too shabby a price.

PP doing the Premier League top goalscorer offer again this year. Bet 20 on a player and they give you €/£2 every time he scores. Made an absolute mint on Aguero last year at 6/1.

Also Aston Villa (3/1) and Bournemouth (13/10) to be relegated. Villa have narrowly avoided the last two years and have lost some big players this year. Bournemouth play some really good attacking football which will probably be their undoing much like Blackpool a few years back.

I reckon Bournemouth will go back down but Eddie Howe is a lot smarter than Ian Holloway was or ever will be. I don't see them going too gung ho

Inside the distance odds for Campbell against Coyle 8/15. Only one bookie offering stoppage odds so far. From experience are those odds likely to get better as other bookies' odds come out?

Can't for the life of me see why Brian Rose is such a big favourite in the Carson Jones rematch. I backed Jones at 4/1 in the first fight and will happily back him again in this at 15/8.

Joshua NOT to have won a world title by the end of 2016 at 5/6 (and the same the other way if you disagree). It specifies WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO only and doesn't count interim titles.

If Dillian Whyte and Kevin Johnson are the best guys Joshua faces in 2015 it's hard to see him getting thrown into a world title fight in 2016, Hearn is building him slowly, he's already bringing in the crowds and good money so no great incentive to step up the pace and he is somewhat injury prone which could slow him down further. Given Hearn's obsession with stadium fights, summer 2017 is about the earliest I see Joshua in a world title fight.

The biggest risks are that he wins the WBA 'regular' or that Wlad loses to Fury, who might not be as assiduous as Wlad in doing all the relevant mandatories, which could scatter the belts. Wlad has just signed a 5 fight TV deal which suggests there's not much risk of him retiring and vacating the belts whilst he keeps winning. Joshua isn't that high in the WBA rankings anyway and Chagaev is supposed to fight Oquendo and Lucas Browne as his next two.

Agree on it being unlikely that Joshua wins a world title in 2016. His next 2 fights are still very much at British level against Cornish and Whyte which rules out this year. I'd imagine he'd then be back out again in March 2016 against a Chisora type opponent (i.e. a Euro level fighter) and they may then look to throw him in with Fury if he loses to Klitschko for a domestic summer blockbuster which would be PPV and at least 3 months of promotion. Unless this was then a world title eliminator he'd have to fight one in the last 6 months of the year as there's no way Wlad or Wilder will take him as their voluntary which leaves very little time remaining in the year for anything else. All of the above of course also relies on him not losing which is no given. So in short I think it's an excellent bet but, as you say, to tie up your money for 18 months you'd have to have a sizeable chunk on to make it worthwhile.

Jones opened up at 6/1 for the first fight couldn't believe what I was seeing

That's a great offer from paddy I don't see how you could lose going with arguero or Costa ......

Only thing is that there both very injury prone but yeah they will get you a lot of free bets throughout the season

Money seems to be coming in on Rose by Ko started 7/2 with Betfred this morning and they have now suspended and you can only get 11/8 and its 5/4 in a place, I know he wobbled him before getting hurt himself and I can see there is an argument for either man getting stopped, but the points is drifting like a barge so someone thinks they know something.

I think Rose will box with caution this time, and possibly get to Jones in the latter stages. The fight being made at 11st 4lb will help Rose [who is the much bigger man] also. A case can be made for Jones power but that's about it, as every other advantage is with Rose
