I think she got paid out of court, but she whined about it and claimed PTSD and shit. I'll never cheer for her again.

I have a feeling Pat had a lot to do with her claiming PTSD to get that settlement $$$. I could be wrong.

Kinda sad seeing the torch being passed tonight. Silva did better than I expected. And I appreciated the display of respect Israel showed to Anderson at the end of the fight.

While I can still see Anderson beating some upper echelons, I'd rather see him retire than to watch him fade into being an old worn fighter getting hit too much.

Fun fight. Can't remember laughing so much during a bout. Fantastic to see the respect shown after the bout. There is a place for shit talk but moments like that really drew me to boxing and mma.

Whittaker incident is really unfortunate.... despite his history, I really hope he doesn't get stripped of his belt....

It would be really rough if he was. He beat the boogeyman of MW twice and things like what happened on the weekend are out of his control and not due to training injuries etc. The staff infection while due to training was pretty crazy and had serious potential for harm. This isn't like other champs who have sat out because they wanted to.

Cerrone v Conor is a joke of a interim title fight.
It's not just that fight but things are IMO getting worse in the UFC. I don't like Colby but the situation he is in right now is bullshit and makes 0 sense. The winner of Anderson and Adasenya getting a title shot makes 0 sense. Jon Jones now being allowed to test positive makes 0 sense. I'm not entirely sure what is going on with Khabib but him boxing makes 0 sense. The UFC gave a precedence though so this is their fault. I still enjoy the fights but it's making it harder to take the UFC seriously.

I was impressed by Devonte Smith, his boxing and length could cause problems for a lot of guys in the division.

Well given his history.....

.... but i was happy to see Dana stress the rarity and severity of his injury....

Gasterlum parading around with Cejudo's belt claiming he was champion looked like an absolute peanut.

That was hilarious.
I think Rob will be ok. They’re saying it’ll be a quick recovery time.

I wonder if the excitement of the event is triggering something that affects him physically. It's a huge coincidence that something like this has happened twice before big fights now.

Anderson needs to either stop, or get his heart back in the game.

For the past few years, it seems like he really doesn't give a shit. Puts on a good show for a couple rounds, then takes his foot off of the gas and coasts.

I don't think it's a question of his heart. He is 43 years old. And he was fighting a kickboxing phenom in The Stylebender. Anderson was just getting outfought. I honestly think his age combined with that horrific injury he suffered has just knocked him down a notch. I believe there are still some high level fighters he can beat, but I would rather see him retire than to watch him fade.

Well, there are certainly exceptions to any rule. Silva pulled the same shit in his prime.

Thinking of lumping some dough on Ngannou to KO Cain in r1. Ngannou is lethal with those 4ounce gloves and Velasquez is coming out of retirement for this. Ngannou r1 won me a 7/1 bet in his last fight. What you lot reckon?

If Cain is healthy he'll ragdoll him in dominant fashion. Huge if though.

Nganno is mentally weak. Cain will wreck him.

McGregor v Cerrone for the interim title ?? Not aware of this. Can't be true surely.

What a joke. Covington v McGregor would be an insane press conference though. Would be very confident in Colby smashing him to bits as well.

Good post :TU: I still watch UFC but it does aggravate the s**t out of me lately with all its bulls**t......I'm much more into cage warriors here in the uk,Bellator & one fc. Cage warriors is a lot of young hungry up n comers, what I call pure fighters, there heart is properly in it & their careers are not yet marred by bulls**t politics,
