I'm confused. I had the +9.5 in the Campbell/Coyle fight but it's coming up as a loss on PP. Stopped at 1.41 of the 10th. That's surely a win isn't it or else I'm losing my mind... I've been waiting on their live chat for over 10 minutes to query it.

Just had it settled there, was a mistake on their behalf. Nice little 6/4.

Going to take the 5/6 on the +9.5 in Jacobs v Mora. I think Sergio will have enough spoiling and ring smartness in his arsenal to bring it that far.

Crazy fight, tough to score. 115-109 Warren which was the sort of card I expected given the action and the pro-Warren crowd but two for Payano 113-111 for the SD.

Payano was the away fighter but got the benefit of the doubt with the judges AND the ref took 2 (two) points off Warren for one incident.

I suppose Payano was value in the betting. Very lucky pick, though.

The ref was also harsh in taking the point from Payano in the third and he credited Warren with a KD when it was a clash of heads that led to Payano being dropped.

That said, it was a very tight fight and one that could've been scored to the home-fighter without complaint.

bruthead wrote:I should say first here that I know very little about MMA but some UFC tipsters are big on Vitor 'Lex Luthor' Miranda at 11/8 over Clint Hester. Hester is coming off a disappointing defeat and was pictured looking somewhat out of shape four weeks ago. He then missed weight by a pound yesterday and had to re-weigh. Although he still looked fantastic compared to me, he was noticeably less toned than usual and his body language wasn't great. Plus he is fighting a Brazilian in Brazil.

Now, Hester would be expected to win in normal circumstances. But the weigh-in hasn't moved the betting line at all so you are still getting the same odds. They imply Miranda has a 42% chance and people probably see it being more like 60-65% if Hester's head hasn't been right.

Also, the feeling is that it's safe to add Ronda Rousey into accumulators at 1/12 and she should be more like Kovalev-Mohammedi's 1/33.

Really good stuff that pal. Really gutted I missed it, made perfect sense. I was surprised Hester lost to Whitaker in his last bout. He looked to be on an upward curve and was decent on his feet, just his ground game needed more work. The Whittaker loss mustve really hit him.

Jason Day in the WGC at 14/1. I reckon a big win for him is close. Think he could do it this week Firestone or next week at the USPGA.

Does the odds on Isidro Ranoni Prieto 15/2 seem away off. Eleider Alverez should be favourite but surely not 1/18. Prieto has power and a fair amount of boxing ability. He could spring an upset here.

Sticking with Day at 14/1 for the USPGA and also backing Bubba at same price. Put a tenner on Ernie Els to finish top 20 at 8/1 also.

Anyone giving Di Luisa much of a chance vs Bute? I might have a small bet on him by stoppage @ 14/1 just for an interest.

I got Prieto at 24/1 on betfair. Any idea what time this will be on UK?

That was great value, Prieto had his moments and nearly pulled it off, unlucky.

Prieto hurt Alvarez at least three times in the first half, but he looked exahusted after the big flurry in the sixth didn't finish things and never seemed to get a second wind.

Thanks. It always felt like one of those bets that you had a gut feeling was not going to win, but couldn't resist because of the value.

Sorry. You bet £50 on city/draw double chance and then in play you bet another £50 on chelsea to win. If city draw or win you win £15 and get your £50 on Chelsea back. If chelsea win you get £200 back but lose your £50 on city but have a £100 profit.
