No I am not. Was never raised that way, or ever dealt with gypsies and travellers until I was in my twenties. That being said, Father's side was Scottish/Irish/Bavarian, Mother's side was Scottish/Irish/German/Native/Gypsy/African. So I guess, considering by and large my family came from people that nobody really wanted, or were forced into places nobody wanted to settle, etc. it's pretty easy to understand the mindset or culture that Fury came from--- cus our family was sort of closed off from others in one regard or another (you didn't come into our neck of the woods, and in turn we didn't go into yours).

Your argument seems to be that if for example John overheard me making a comment about him which he found disagreeable, my reaction should be one of fear. Why ?

I'm a fairly opinionated chap and have on occasion said things to people which they took issue with. On very few of these occasions have i then been in fear of my own safety because the people involved didn't see physical violence as the sole recourse to resolve differences of opinion.

Your comments imply that john would physically attack in such circumstances. I put it to you sir that that is not the reaction one would expect of an "absolute gentleman" and would be more in keeping with the reaction one would expect from a violent

Not abusing anyone. He may well be a gent. However its a pretty serious offence. I never made a mistake like that. Maybe were just in different worlds. Why would john want to hurt me? What have i done to him?
