Spike landed some decent blows on Eubank in the fight and showed a great chin but perhaps proved that Eubank isnt a massive puncher. Class in parts but Jr just so wild and I think he might be a bit of a bully boy. Jacobs is more accomplished and bigger than Spike. I think Eubank loses that and probably hits the deck. Skys hype is just sickening.

Welcome to the world of the Collins brothers, they were happy for Buglioni to get pasted for 12 rounds, Spike's still in with a chance of winning and they pull him out. :witzend:

Both of them are a pair of clowns, whole stable would be better off away from them.
Thats a good point expe i never thought about that, maybe it was a lesson learned with Buglioni, maybe they didnt have the bottle to stop it coz Frank was at home ,who knows??

I dont agree with the pull out, thought it could have went a couple more rounds, still not convinced about Collins as trainers, there fighters seem to all be crude, ive seen no real improvement in Frank either
Not sure if it Pascal's influence or just a coincidence, but O Sullivan's performance and ending reminded me of Ormond vs Flanaghan. It seems like once they think they can no longer they quit. Both said similar things post fight - both realised they couldn't win so Ormond went dirty and O Sullivan just stayed in his stool.

Actually a very entertaining nights boxing. Some good matches.

The advert thing just gives me the opportunity to moan about match room greed. It's really pi $$ed me off.

All I can say is if that was Steve in the ring there's no way Paschal would have pulled him out.

I don't think Paschal's a bad trainer, but he isn't great either. Both of them, Steve especially, see everything in terms of his career and think that decent power and being a hard bastard is enough to succeed at the highest level, when in reality some good boxing skills are needed too, that Steve had when he needed them. Spike has no defence and is limited to a solid jab and some wild swings, Buglioni is the same as ever.

Have to question their management too, they seem to think that fighters can just walk into world title fights without beating anyone, Ormond's trying to do it now. Taking Ormond to America with a minor promoter over there when there's two titles and big money fights here was crazy as well, made absolutely no sense at all.
