Smith blatantly hit him when he was down there. Should have been a point deducted. Not that it will matter

I just think it will be a tough sell. Co-main event for sure but Main? If it's PPV in particular, no.
Not that I expect many of us know how much women can earn at the top level in boxing but I'd imagine the money Sky and BT stump up for each regular show will comfortably cover it.

I will be suprised if womens boxing becomes as popular as womens UFC has tho.
Me too but it just needs exciting fighters who are good to watch. I don't know if there many out there but if Sky and BT start providing exposure maybe it can blow up.

My son a bit of a novice when it comes to live events, only been to a couple of big shows, so as soon as something happens my phone rings. 'Bruno in the arena' 'Klit just come in' 'Bellew has walked in ' Shannon and Haye kicking off, security dragging Briggs into the corner of the arena'

The guy was taking a beating, ref had the chance to end it earlier, and he waits for the brutal end instead

can't fathom it really because he was involved in a tragic fight I think

Easy blame the ref but it's his corner that should have pulled him after the 8th. Stupidity letting him carry on.

Given all the fatal or near fatal injuries fighters have suffered in England lately I'm amazed the referee didn't stop that fight sooner. The 8th seemed like the perfect time to stop it. Hopefully Blackledge is ok, and we're not reading another horrible story later on.

Fights like these need to be waved off far earlier when one fighter is dominating so clearly.

Now that he's conscious, any danger of a replay?
