Are the the Saudis going to make Andy wear a sports bra?
I know they are pretty strict over there.

AJ is already starting the bout with a small advantage that ref in charge is a grab and hold merchant :shame:

Except Joshua is pretty inept at grabbing and holding.

Guys, I urge you to get a hold of this 4/1 by decision price before it shortens, because it WILL shorten.

I do have slight concerns about josh stopping him but Ruiz is a seriously tough guy and I expect a mostly composed display from AJ, working at distance with his jab and winning a 117-111 type decision.

I made 4 figures betting Ruiz KO in the first fight, I'm laughing my ass off at him being underdog again; the hypejob got exposed and even the markets can't believe it - I'm going to clean up on Ruiz KO again. It will be lobster for Christmas dinner at my house this year.

The first match I chose Joshua but I always knew Ruiz had a big chance of winning by upset, as we know AJ is vulnerable when he gets clocked hard and goes into survival mode. He is not experienced like Wlad who knew how to hold and weather the storm, and that is the problem with AJ. However I do believe AJ would have made some improvements technically.

I have no doubt Ruiz will hurt AJ again, however I feel this time AJ will react differently and see out the rough moments.

I am taking AJ by knockout in a hard fought fight. I think the fight ends in six rounds with AJ being victorious. AJ by knockout in the sixth round in spectacular fashion.

You’ll be in the poorhouse for turkey scraps son. I’ll send you some beans to go with them though if you want.

This is only a big fight because Joshua lost last time and badly. But it’s nice to see the PPV going up by a fiver as a result.

The hype around Ruiz being more slimline looks like a load of bullshit. He still looks quite chubby. I keep changing my mind on who is going to win this fight and again looking at the 2 side by side AJ is far more athletic looking. I think its a hard one to chose and the first round or 2 will be important for AJ to see if he has suddenly gone gun shy or whether he is going for a long fight and possible 12 round victory. I cant see AJ lasting 12 rounds as fresh as a daisy. I dont know really, Ruiz was fat as eff last fight and it didnt burden him at all. I cant make up my mind on this one.

That eras second tier , would rate with the best of this era
yes i was thinking the same but didnt want to be rose tinted as can happen.

If Ruiz hurts him, it's over; when AJ gets hurt he gets exhausted. That is a set characteristic. It was there to see versus Whyte and Wlad. All he needed was someone to pile on and help him on his way. Ruiz is spry and hungry and can pile it on.

As expected, money piling in on Josh decision and the price is now widely 7/2.

I expect the best available to be 3/1 come fight night or maybe even shorter.

I think Ruiz decision is good value. If AJ's jab and grab backfires, or alienates the judges, and Ruiz is busier, we could see it go 12 and the least likely result take place.

I don't gamble ,, But if i did my money would be on Ruiz , by KO again , he's confident , he knows he's took AJ's best and can survive them , he also knows AJ can't survive his , I think he'll stalk AJ but be careful for the first 4-5 rnds then come looking for a Ko , , he'll be happy for AJ to jab hold and spoil , cos he knows sooner or later he'll be punching short and nail AJ

You haven’t even seen the odds on ruiz decision ! You wouldn’t know value if it walked up to you in a solid gold suit of armour waving Target shares with an ASDA uniform on.

I don't get where this idea comes from thst AJ is going to jab him. AJs jab isn't up to much. He was worried, even in the early rounds, in fight 1 about what might come over the jab, so he was trying to jab while leaning back out of Ruizs range. His jab ain't hard, it isn't accurate nor weighted with conviction.
Andy will soundly outbox Joshua if AJ just gets on his bike.

Yes. Smart money.

By the way, Joshua has a good jab.

5/2 would suggest piling in. 7/2 is a small nibble at best.

If the Joshua strategy is to jab and grab for 36 minutes, while Luis Pabon nods his head approvingly, surely all boxing fans should ne rooting for him to fail?

The last thing the heavyweight division needs is a return to the bad old days of Wladimir Klinch-ko.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but are the ring walks due at 8.30pm our time?

If that's the case i'm gonna struggle to catch it! Going to some Elfingrove Santa pish in Glasgow with the kids and that doesn't start till 6.30! Was hoping for a 10pm start :witzend:
